This kid seems pretty knowledgable about hockey, yet he makes a comment that is completely wrong. He mentions that Justin Abdelkader had 5 points if you add it up, 2 goals which is 4 points and 1 assist. Unless he is talking about scoring for some fantasy league, last time I checked, the NHL only awards 1 point for a goal.

just one questions. and i don't want to come off as a pompose jerk here because there's a pretty good chance you can quickly prove me wrong. When talking about the points system, i'm pretty sure that a goal only counts for a single point - the same as an assist. I've never really liked this too much myself, but I'm pretty sure it's accurate.
