I have almost the same question as Destroysall ... I heard many different versions of when the NEW iPod Touch (whatever will they call it the 4S or 5 or something other) will be coming out, I've heard March 2012 and in the beginning of the summer and some other date. Well, my questions is: do you think it would be wise to buy the 4G (what I'm desperately craving for!!! :D) or should I just patiently wait for the very new one? Will there be expected to have much change comparing to the 4G?

@AmericansAnnoyMe The display is actually really good. This video makes it look worse than it actually is. I know two people that have an ipod touch 4g and my best friend has an iphone 4... i honestly cant see much difference at all in the displays. Its really smooth and crystal clear :)

I' gonna get a iPhone 4S when my phone contract upgrade is due June 2012 but, in the mean time I'm tempted with one of these. I just don't know whether to get a 8 GB or bigger. Also, is its memory upgradeable from 8 GB to 32 via SD card?

Is the inbuilt speaker good enough to listen to music while it's in my pocket? Lastly, I have hundreds of CDs. I have iTunes but haven't yet put 50 CDs on there. Will I be able to add more CDs after this iPod has synced? (My last iPod music deleted on new pc)

@Topdoginuk An 8GB model's formatted capacity will be closer to 6GB. If you have a lot of music, definitely go for the 32 or 64GB model. The capacity can NOT be upgraded, unfortunately - what you get is what you're stuck with. The built-in speaker is...okay...but not great. If it's in your pocket, use headphones.

The last part...are you asking if you can add more music to it after its first sync? If that's what you mean, then yes, any music you add to iTunes will be added to the iPod.

@MsActresswannabe not sure what you mean... if you have songs on itunes or whatever already, all you need to do is connect the touch to the computer and drop your music files into the ipod touch. i don't know whether you have old drm downloads from a few years ago. sometimes, they restricted the number of computers/devices the songs could live i think. but i could be wrong about that part. generally, you shouldn't have a problem.
