  • I've made this with the chicken and its very good! I'm going to make this friday but with boneless/skinless Turkey breasts. Should be good!

  • Nice early 80's porn music in the background...

  • @cadillaccasper This IS porn........ food porn :)

  • I've never tried brining my chicken, usually just thaw it out and grill it and it comes out pretty good. Does brining make that much difference because I usually have the time to throw them in a brine mixture but does it REALLY make that much difference in grilling chicken ? I usually just put garlic salt and pepper on mine chicken breasts.

  • ....the 20 dislikes came from vegetarians.....that's fine, more meat for me

  • Charcoal is the only way to go (in my opinion).

  • I did this recipe! I also glazed it with their bbq sauce! It was amazing!

  • I see you added sugar to the brine, does that make the chicken taste sweet? does that have any effect on the taste?? Would appreciate your reply.

  • Great video! Thanks for the tips.

  • alright

  • Great videos, but we all know that real Cowboys only use fresh sprigs of Thyme, and would never be caught using anything but Premium Extra virgin olive oil!

  • is that a pinch or a punch of salt?

  • What's the approx. cooking time? It's hard to tell when they're cooked just right.

  • i have them at subways

  • I could listen to this guy all day

  • Damn dude..... your videos are amoungst the very best on youtube!!!!!! Thanks for all of your hard work and great teaching!

  • i love what you guys are doing. i couldnt help but to ask if you switched cutting boards between cpreparing the chicken and cutting the finished chicken?

  • Cool video. I marinate my chicken in a chipotle/mango sauce I get from the supermarket, for 2-4 hours. I cook on a gas grill but i throw down Applewood chips to smoke it up. Adds GREAT flavor. The chicken comes out juicy everytime. I just keep poking it until the meat starts to bounce back, so I know it's cooked inside. I took me some practice, but I got it down perfectly I must say. I just don't have the cool BBQ voice that you have. :)

    Grill on!!!!

  • when cooking chicken breasts by themselves in a skillet, is it a good idea to pour lemon juice over the chicken after they have been cooked, just before they are ready to serve?

  • delicious, grilled chicken...with potatoe chips on the side. Redneck breakfast of champions! lol this was fun to watch!...gots to try!

  • Thanks for the great brining tips! I just made some great chicken tonight thanks to you guys!

  • is that a rolling rock in the background?

  • Very very healthy seasoning.. My kind of cooking..

  • Do you smell that? That smells GOOD!!!

  • Thank you BarbecueWeb for giving me the info to make some great bbq chicken!!!

  • where are guys from?

  • For anyone who doesn't want to watch this video 18 times to get the recipe:

  • @darthsheep Thanks alot!!!! The BBQPITBOYS should be doing this in EVERY VIDEO in the discription!!!!!!!. get the hint BBQPITBOYS....Put the ingredients and measured amounts listed in the discriptions. No "visit the website that doesn't have the recipe" blah blah blah.....

  • Thanks, that was delicious.

  • Thank you sir. I will try this for tonights dinner..

  • I tried this last weekend and will do it again today. Very easy and with great results. Instead of just oil at the end i used italian dressing. Awsome!!

  • Although fried chicken isn't bbq, this brine works excellent for fried chicken! Used an outdoor deep fryer so maybe yall will like it.

  • does it suppose to taste a little salty?

  • @jaimeg123prmt try rinsing it off instead of just wiping it down.

  • Fucking dude has an awesome ass voice. Good recipe as well.

  • Fucking dude has an awesome ass voice. Good recipe as well.

  • can the brine be reused aslong as its refigerated?

  • @k1headhunter because it's so cheap to make, I wouldn't bother. Just make a fresh batch. -BBQ Pit Boys

  • thank you :)

  • @BarbecueWeb if you got time after the brine I marinated with 3 tbsp soy sauce, about 3 tbsp of honey, 2 tbsp oil, juice from 2 fresh limes(squeezed dry), 2 tsp of garlic, and chicken. I promise if you try it, it will be the best grilled chicken you have ever had!

  • @k1headhunter there's a potential for bacterial growth; I wouldn't reuse after a few hours or so.

  • @k1headhunter I wouldn't suggest using it because you had raw chicken in it

  • @k1headhunter I wouldn't. The most expensive thing is honestly probably the salt since you use so much. And salt is DIRT cheap.

  • You guys kick A**

    thx

  • just bought a new charcoal grill....spring is in the air!!!!! steak/ribs/chicken and beer......ohhh my!!!

  • to hell with winter!!!! the first double digit day i'm gonna try out my new charcoal grill.......it's almost april....springs a comin!!! steak/ribs/chicken and beer ohhh my!!!!!

  • hey Mahaney82, YT gave us a Show (at the Shows link above) Contrary to popular belief, we still have real jobs! -BBQ Pit Boys

  • Posting, shows, partnership, its all good man. Money is money and I dont doubt that you have another job at all. As a matter of fact I dont even discount this as a job because it is work, let alone probably a lot of fun to do these shows. I watch and love them all. The personality and information of the series is the best.

It just throws me off seeing these ads before a video, only cause I feel force fed something I wasnt looking for. All be it, I do sit through them cause I love your vids.

  • BTW, my OP wasnt a bash at you or what you do in any way, shape, or form. It was just a comment about something that I wasnt expecting to see when I opened up the video. Keep up the good work and I will always continue to watch.

  • no offence taken at all, Mahaney82. YT and the Google Plex are trying to figure out how to make some money off the free bandwidth they're giving away. They'll need to or this whole thing they're doing will implode. Nothing good comes free so we hope they find a way to show ads without driving away viewers. Welcome to the Pit, and thanks for stoppin' by! -BBQ P{it Boys

  • If I had the same thing going as YT and the big G I would most Likely be doing it too. Gotta keep what we all love running smoothly. Thanks for the invite and its always a pleasure.

  • yum iced TEA lol

  • I have always marinated in vinegar to seal in the juices. I will give this a try, as yours looks more moist!!!!

Keep em coming, the boys at deer camp love my(your) cooking.

  • @metrotxmex the vinegar may add too much acidity and close off the cells, brines work with osmosis

  • mmmmhmm wow sure looks good !! will have to try this one for sure. thanks pitboys!!!

  • I thought fire is problem on grill, but actually it`s not, as I can see. This is great for ceasar salad. I`m gonna try out some beef cubes this way, as well

  • Who is the band that plays thier theme song?

  • the band is Blue House and the song is off of their cd Shake Your Butt. There's a link to their website from the Pit Boys YT homepage!

  • you can drip the chicken with a drops of olive oil to keep it from sticking but you shouldnt put too much olive oil

  • are you trying to tell the pit boys what to do? cause im sure they know better then you.

  • Not dangerous if you wash the cutting board :P

  • Simple but brilliant stuff, 'specially with a cold brew alongside it

  • Man....This looks GUUUUUUUUUUUD

  • oh, yeah......it smells guuuud!

  • Italian dressing works wonders as well.

  • i've tried that and i agree it makes like a glaze over the chicken making it sticky :3

  • That'd make like the perfect chicken for a salad.

  • Looks pretty chilly there, perfect for grillin.

  • damn onion flakes are frikin hard to find in my country fuck europe :|

  • you could just cut some onions and do that

  • damn... Thats so tasty!!

  • i like it but why sugar :x

  • sugar gives it that honey color
