@MadKingRon At first, yes. But Bioware is expert at emotions and Harbinger's voice actor was quite the significant guy. Must be done on purpose. Think about Sovereign: "We are each a nation" . Harbinger's emotions were intended and actually added even more depth in Reapers. They surpass our definition of AI. They are both organic and inorganic. Even more unpredictable, and shall I say, scary alien.

it took me a while, but i think ive figured out the Reapers motivations.

every time the Reapers "cleans" the galaxy of organic life, they pick an organic race that stands out above the rest and use that race to create another Reaper. then, they wipe out all lesser creatures in the galaxy. they also choose a race each time to create a new Reaper for them, like how they turned Prothens into Collectors.
