Takes nothing away from Beanie (who is like a Jim Brown), but for Pittman to be so much smaller, and less powerful, he pretty much achieved 'Beanie-type' results his whole career at OSU. He absolutely made Beanie's transition easier when Beanie was a frosh. Hats off to Pittman, an OSU immortal in a long line of fine runners!

Yes I agree, he was a good sign for OSU in the title game and they stopped giving it to him. From my point of view he was not going to be stopped by Florida and he had to much hart to be stopped. I'm sure tress learned a lot from that game.
