  • Having a child is one of the most selfish, self-centered things anyone can do.

She was stupid, she gambled, and lost.

Then--attention whore that she is--goes on TV (Kouric is perfect for this) and talks about how hard it is and was being her now.

Weeee weeee weeee. Cry for me.

  • True; we medical professionals do a poor job of giving the diagnosis that a child has special needs; I lecture across the country to train medical community on how to give diagnosis & support the family. What is worse, as seen in this video, is the sadness/anxiety/stress associated with Down syndrome. Our society fears DS because of the myths. Kids with DS are amazing, wonderful children! We must update perceptions on DS in society so that DS is celebrated, not feared!

  • What do you say after that? I know what you say. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

  • Dislike,

It seems to me that these parents are somewhat misplacing their frustration here, The mother said that they "came for information." Well, that is exactly what they got. They were given a probable diagnosis, at least two options (giving birth or aborting), and they were given the card of a counselor to help. They are not victims of some anti-down-syndrome conspiracy here.

  • I would hate to have a DS kid

  • @videogamespoofer

You are obviously coming from an uneducated view on the subject. My brother has down syndrome. He is and always will have a happier life than you and be more forgiving than you. He shows no hate and before I was his age I was taught what Hate is and how to go about it, obviously you did too. He is twelve and the most loving person I know. So honestly kid, if you really think that, have fun, just know that you don't really know what it's like until you have experienced it

  • OMG! My son was born 33 years ago with DS. Absolutely no support of any kind. The genetic counselor tried to trick me into signing papers to place him in an institution. She said, "he will never walk, talk, laugh, ride a bike and only be a burden! Imagine, you are a 20 year old parent, your baby has DS, and the medical persons are all treating your baby as a disease! Well, he is living in a private apartment, works 5 days a week, has friends, laughter. Apparently things are still crap

  • They all look the same. Was that offensive? sorry.

  • 00:01 She looks like Neve Campbell.

  • I have a nine month old daughter with downs syndrome and I can say that when I found out she had ds after birth was the hardest time in my life...I think that doctors do need some training on how to talk to parents when there is diagnosis like this..I found out alone after my daughter was born, still groggy. It was the worst day in my life but Brianna has changed me and my family, she has brought us all closer and we just love this lil girl so much..also she has been in great health since bith..

  • @chairmobile.Why would you say it costs a lot of money to have a child with DS...How would you know.? It didn't cost me anymore than it did my first child. My daughter has no medical issue's at all, heart etc.She is as healthy as any other child. I agree. It's up to each individual if they want to keep the baby or not, but I couldn't terminate. They test for DS at 16-18 wks and when you feel a baby move inside, then that's what I don't understand why mothers can terminate.

  • @chairmobile

You can't diagnose DS at 4 weeks....now your dreaming!!

  • @BrittXAinsley Musta been confused, but you don't really start feeling the baby kicking at 4 months now, do you? I don't really give a damn about this portion of genetics anyhow - enzyme expression and particle physics interests me far more than simple genetic defects, so please don't be offended if I don't respond to further comments and good luck with your baby daughter/sister.

  • @chairmobile Have you ever had a child?? I've had 2 and yes you do feel the baby move and I was showing at 3 months, maybe because I have a petite frame. So for someone that thinks their smart with your physics etc ...Your really making me laugh. I'm a nurse, so went through 4 years of university in nursing, so I know what I'm talking about. Oh I won't be offended if you don't respond...I will actually be okay. lol

  • @BrittXAinsley I'm the mother and not Britt.lol

  • @chairmobile Oh my god!!!! you did respond!!!! lol You sound as if your not even human. You don't give a shit about childbirth!!! Maybe your parents shouldn't have given a shit when having sex, then they wouldn't have had you!!! Go back to watching animation video's where you belong little child who is actually 25 yrs.lol

  • @chairmobile Are you fucking kidding me! Are you that stupid!. Every person with Down syndrome eats regular food like you and I. They don't need to mash food up. Your the sorry asswipe loser that's checking out pages that have no interest to you. If you don't have anything nice to say about people who have down syndrome, then stay the hell off all of their video's. I hope one day you step off the pavement and get hit by a car and fed mushed carrots for the rest of your life!

  • @chairmobile and yes this is Brit's mother again!! A mother always protects her children no matter what!!!

  • @BrittXAinsley Wow, do you really have nothing better to do? I'll be expecting a view from you soon enough; you can cease responding to me for now. And I assumed that your baby eats baby food like mashed vegetables and the like. God, you people are so entertaining! If you think you're driving a point home with your gratuitous, unaltruistic profanity, you're severely mistaken. However, I do get a good laugh out of your ridiculous comments!

  • I don't think you should have a child at all if you aren't prepared to support that child, even though I can absolutely relate to not being in a position to do that. Your child could still have schizophrenia, hearing problems, autism, etc, or could become addicted to drugs, have anger problems, get in trouble with the law, etc. You really can't know what'll happen, and if you're trying to have a child for selfish reasons you are setting up a difficult relationship for BOTH of you.

  • I also think your mindset about the child being a burden is also very negative, pretty much everyone who's not from a fascist background (from someone from strictly religious background to the democrats to the libertarians to the communists) would disagree with looking at things in that way, as it is has very negative social implications. Societal problems CANNOT be explained in terms of "bad people."

  • The 2 comments below was posted on my 12 year old video that she made of her sister. This 45 year old person is living in a world of their own . He's that stupid when he thinks it's only people with disabilities who are the only people that use up tax payers dollars. Who do you think buys free needles to give to drug addicts? Do you think their welcomed in this world? onefastdart... You are a disgusting, ignorant pig! Your mother should have aborted you at birth as your nothing but crap!

    The Mom

  • Yes Britt I did. You are probably to young to understand, but tax payers like myself must pay for special schools, and aid for these mutations. This waists billions of both state and federal tax dollars each quarter. Money that can be better spent, without these drains on society. I am only one of many people pushing for bills to be past into law, to stop this stupid waist. I will be very happy when the day comes that only normal children are able to be born.

  • I believe in manditory abortion in the cases of teen pregnacy, unwed women, no and low income familys, and imigrants with disabilitys from entering the U.S. I also support euthanasia for such.

Please understand that, due to a genetic mutation your sister is not viable human. It is a bipedal hominid that mimics human behavior, and can be taught rudimentarty speech, not a child.

  • pass the law so we can kill bastards like this

  • For all of those who think that having a child with DS is the end of the world, let me just educate you on the facts: My daughter is 3 and can read, sing, count, play piano, loves life and is loved by many. Her life is NOT a waste. She does more than most "typically" developing kids her age. She is in no way "suffering" or a burden. And there are MANY people with DS who go onto to get married, got to college, etc. So before you judge, know the facts.

  • @zoe1974

It's interesting what's valued in our western culture. An unborn child with down syndrome is considered worthless by many, even though they're very loving, very good-natured people. I mean ...wouldn't it be worse to have a child who grows up to be a selfish, ignorant, slutty, trashy, shallow, whoring, thieving, conniving, hot check writing, drug abusing, child neglecting, materialistic cum slut doped up on antidepressants (but has nice shoes!)? There are plenty of those around.

  • @zoe1974

Yes, I know someone with ds. I'm guessing, if given the choice, you would rather have a daughter who grows up to be a tart drinking and smoking weed while pregnant, writing hot checks, bouncing up and down on every man that comes her way, and who's biggest accomplishment is breast implants, a clit ring, and a large collection of designer shoes in her closet - rather than have a child with down syndrome?

  • @zoe1974

There are a lot worse things a child could grow up to be than afflicted with ds. How about retroactive abortion for people like those I described

  • @zoe1974

You said you don't have any kids. Good for you. You strike me as someone who'd abort a baby coz they want to go fucking shopping.

  • You know what you ignorant bitch! I had testing done and you know what? The result were negative and guess what..I had a beautiful baby girl who was born with DS. So don't rely on those tests either.

Thank god you don't have kids as you would probably be a lousy, selfish mother anyways.

Your parents were also lousy in your upbringing when you have such ignorant words against people with disabilities. I hope you die of a very long and painful death! Cause you deserve it! @ zoe1974

    The Mom!

  • Why do you make generalizations like the fact that XxLuciferousxX will be a bad mother? You've never met her, and you can't assume that her values are flawed because she spoke her mind on youtube. I don't see what kind of evil words she said; it is every mother's choice to keep or abort a baby, and in a harsh financial situation, supporting a DS baby may be extremely hard. It might be easier for someone making more every year, but it costs a lot to have a DS baby, especially for the poor

  • Why did you reply to my inbox?? The comment I made above yours was to zoe1974, not the other girl your talking about!

  • I did not know that my daughter had Down Syndrome until she was born. I looked at her, she had two eyes, two ears, one mouth and nose, ten fingers and toes, so what's the problem? "She will learn at a slower pace than other children". Oh well. "She may never be able to live on her own". No problem, I will take care of her. "She needs surgery but it is routine". Now I was worried. The surgery went fine. She is nine now and very healthy and active. Trust me, she is a very special human being.

  • That doctor was ridiculous. It's not like the baby was born with some horrible painful disease! How is it "getting punched in the gut" to find out your kid won't have as high an IQ as someone else and will need some extra help? This just comes from living in a society where disabled people aren't valued.

As emo as this lady is, she's totally right that the doctor just acted like the only thing to do with a Down's fetus is abort it.

  • Why are the comments about decieding to have these precious children be rated as bad, u people are sick and obviously would have chosen to abort these babies. I feel bad for u people who are heartless, remember what comes around goes around. evil has many forms.People with down syndrome are the most loving people on this earth. EDUCATE YOURSELF!!!!!!

  • my comment rated bad? wth? i said a good thing...

  • People with downsyndrome are lovely, kind-hearted people.. they are blessed with eternal innocense so if people hate these people is just sick :(

  • notice how terrible the doctor was in telling her about this. She contributed to the sense of worry and fear!

  • Excellent insight into how people feel when they are told they are going to have a baby born with Down Syndrome
