Diablo2 used to never be like it is now. anyone using bots got their cd keys banned, their were no item selling sites. Their were never bots ever flooding games not even 1 bot. Their were also 60-80x as many players playing it(not exaggerating)in patch .08 and patch .09. I even thought the original diablo2 with out the expansion was even funner online

Not that I play PvP much myself, but surely those who are rich outside of the game will have a distinct advantage over those who are not due to the gear driven nature of diablo, which in my opinion is unfair. When you play a game its about escapism, you don't want to have the real world invading that space, the gaming arena should be a level playing field. Although I understand that there is a gold/item market already there. I don't like the fact that it is being legitimised for profit.

@Mintchiplol well i dont think blizzard will do anything diffrently if they would happen to get a little bit more profit from the real-money AH, i mean they've already had like 6-12 million subs for a long time (10 mil now) which have given them more money than anything else and they havent made any improvements what so ever. take patch 4.1 which took them like 3 months, thats like 360 million euros in that time... now was patch 4.1 really worth that kind of money? i certainly dont think so.

1. 3rd party websites cant sell in game items for real currency and leave blizzard with no % which they could use to support updates and negate a montly payment like stupid ass WoW.
