  • holy s**t

  • a couple hundred animals were harmed in the making of this film. cry yorself to sleep PETA and hippies.

  • coool

  • Out of curiosity would you be able to see this from space ?

  • @ETHOB121

Yes, I think you can see them from space.

  • @Evocatorum er, known...

  • Considering that all of the planets in this none universe are made exactly this way, up to and including all heavy metals greater than iron, I find it amazing that we can harness this power for our purposes, both good or evil. While it sucks that some islanders had to move, the reality is it undoubtedly didn't affect their way of life, just where their life was. See also: Nalehia, Mau Piailug.

  • @Evocatorum

    Totally agree.

  • Tax dollars at work.

  • The Middle East needs to be treated to some of that shit.

  • @ms3er You really are retarded aren't you

  • i read on wikipedia the characters on Sponge Bob got their human like characteristics from the radiation of The Baker Test

  • half of the ocean died that stupid day

  • how can something such amazing be so horrible :/

  • spongebob

  • fuck bombs.

  • Um ok I think it works?

  • WTF BOOM MUHAHAHAHAHAMUHAHAHAHHA!

  • The dark shape at :57 is the battleship USS Arkansas (BB-33).

  • There is NOTHING cool about this. Not one damn thing.

  • @KittyMommyof2

Well..apart from seeing a shit load of ships get wasted in a matter of seconds...that was sort of cool

  • They used Prinz Eugen as a test target. A huge disrespection against such a naval symbol of WW2.

  • they used american and japanese ships too you know

  • In the last shot the black shape in the right of the water column is the USS Arkansas, a 500ft battleship standing vertically on its bow.

  • It's a good job nobody was on them apart from loads of animals for use later as research. Before any of you animal rights activists come down from your ivory towers this was 60 years ago!

  • @BigKelvPark

There actually WERE animal rights activists in those days. The original plan was to use dogs as test animals, but it created such protests that the other animals were used instead.

  • Imagine what it must have been in those ships.

    WTF BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!

  • @draconey: there is absolutely nothing cool about atomic bombs. and the ones who planned this an forced the bikini natives to leave their home are just fucking basterds.

  • @kristopher0815 AMERICAAAAAAAAAAAA FUCK YEAH!

  • @kristopher0815 they didnt force them to leave....they asked and they agreed to leave....later in the 1950's..after some thermonuclear tests on their bikini atoll island...it was deemed unsafe to return..so they just stayed i guess

  • @TheBabyGenocide

earth is flat, pigs can fly...

  • @kristopher0815 actually it is pretty cool, dick.

  • @MarkFitzx

actually you are pretty dumb, fucker.

  • @kristopher0815

Kris, it is not cool the destructive power that the bomb holds, what is cool, is the eminent power that the atom holds.

  • @MarkFitzx

    I like you.

  • @kristopher0815

I apologize for saying it was 'cool'. Seeing the power that the atom has is cool, but understanding the effects is not.

  • @kristopher0815 So you find nothing interesting about mankind learning how to unlock the huge amounts of stored energy inside a small amount of matter? Nothing cool about successfully engineering the release of vast quantities of light and sound from something miniscule in size?

True, the removal of natives and the destructive uses of atomic research are unfortunate. But you cannot discredit the scientists and engineers for their incredible leaps in technology.

  • @LawfulTots And without the research into atomic bombs we would not be where we are in terms of nuclear power plants and research today, one of the only true solutions to our energy problems.

  • @kristopher0815 hippie detected, releasing pot smelling dogs

  • those ships look a little bit too close

  • That was the idea, apparently. That's why the guy's talking about them, this experiment was supposed to test the effect of such an explosion on ships.

  • Those ships were placed there as targets.

  • these were old ships, useless...only some animals onboard.

  • what a bunch of dicks

  • FUAROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The destiny of the human race was burried by an uran-shovel, and there lies tons of ashes.

  • terrifying amount of power like
