I remember Terry Fox Marathon of Hope well! I was a boy at the time. He brought an unforgettable face to the battle against this dreaded disease.

I lost 4 ppl I loved to cancer (Mom,cousin Wendy, & an aunt,uncle.. My 14 yr old nephew is a survivor! He was 2 when diagnosed.

I lived in a small town when Terry came running through. He was so close I could have touched him. I still have the Marathon of Hope buttons that were being handed out. I cherish that memory and never realized how blessed I was until I was and adult and the impact he had and still has on so many.
