Hey Laron... I looked up some of RL performances at his blues club as you suggested. Now I'm all depressed. LOL. I live in Los Angeles now and they don't know how to party like down home folk. I miss blues clubs and juke joints. Thanks for making me aware. If I'm ever in Dallas I will going to this for sure. My uncle Big Joe graham played sax for Johnnie Taylor. Hes on Johnnies last DVD (Live In Dallas). I think at the Long Horn. Cant' remember right now.
It is a small world. You have some of my favorite artist in your favorites (Mississippi Mass, Donald Lawrence - Encourage yourself, Dorothy Moore, and Bishop Paul Morton. My favorite from that CD/ DVD however is "Not Me Lord You" (check it out). We are both in L.A. (lol). If you say you live in the valley, I'm going to pass out. LOL

It was good seeing home again. I almost forgot about home much I enjoyed my time at the Palace.

I am going next weekend. My friend took me and I had a blast. It was refreshing to get out of the suburbs and let my hair down :-D
