After rewatching this series, I realized that Heero, the supposed "super soldier", has pretty poor showings for his status. He failed his first mission and on top of that, failed on committing suicide for failing that mission. Go ahead, flame me.
Nah comparing the 2 sucks but i would give the edge 2 Kira. His technology is far more advanced and don't forget Freedom's Zafts' computer system and the speed .. the speed would be 2 much. Zeros' cannon is stronger but he couldn't hit Freedom or SF him with that thing. Kira also has the S E E D thing he goes thru similar 2 the Zero system. I'll give it 2 Kira based on technology alone. But Heero Yui is by far the most badass character In Gundam, In a fists fight, Heero > Kira

Heero Yuy was trained to pilot any mobile suit and can kill without any remorse, Kira just cries and cries never getting anything done, BTW it took Kira 100 eps to get the job done, it took Heero 50 eps and a movie to finish the job and scare a little girl into wetting herself. @Matrix70151 when turn a is at even 30 percent, its speed is twice that of traans am, as i said before it can teleport. 00q never went to another dimention, just another spot in space. also when 00q uses trans am, EVERYONE can read minds. the turn a can pretty much make any weapon it wants. the ELS gundam has no weapons at all. and of cource TURN was also made by alien tech. and a massive beam sword is nothing compared to a HOMING COLONY LAZER THAT CAN TELEPORT, turn invisible and block the TBR

@Matrix70151 trans am can only lasts about 3 minutes, and it leaves the MS drained for 5 minutes. and the armor for the Turn A is said to be stronger than gundanium (the same armor WZ uses) also the cockpit in the turn a is located at the least likely of spots. lets just say it gives new meaning to the name cockpit. and since everything in the gundam is self regeneratable (even the pilot can be brought back to life as long as a single strand of DNA remains.) anything Setsuna could dd is useless
@omegashinobi Trans-am lasts way longer with 00 Raiser. Turn A sounds more like a gundam made for Guyver if you ask me. And if the dark gundam can be destroyed to the point where regeneration is no longer possible then Turn A can meet the same fate.
@Matrix70151 nope i've seen it with 00raiser, and believe it or not it still has that 3 minute mark. also the only way to destroy turn a is to destroy it down to the last cell, which is impossible for 00q. (turn A has a conostant I'Field so not only could it turn invisible for a nearly unlimited time period, but it can block just about anything the 00Q can throw at it.) plus considering the fact that the moonlight buutterfly is still around means that close range combat is suicide.
@omegashinobi Moonlight butterfly is good yes but the qantizing can let 00 get in close all it has to do is get in close like that and use the 0 raiser sword and it could incinerate Turn A if positioned well enough
@Matrix70151 as i said before the moonlight butterfly can cover an entire planet all ar once. so no matter how you quantize, once you begin to reform you will be disentigrated regardless of where you are. also since the Turn A can turn its entire body into an I-field, any beam weapon near it even beam sabers would be entirely useless. so the raiser sword would fail.

@omegashinobi I think you guys are overdoing it a bit. 00 Raiser and 00Quanta shouldnt even be considered since at this point in Gundam history it is the strongest gundam to ever exist.The 00 Burst mode pretty much mind fucks everyone in a 500 mile radius and we dont even know what the 00Quanta is fully capable of. For all we know it could send the ELS to attack anything or it could merge and absorb other gundams or rip them apart molecule by molecule. Turn A would win against wing
@qu7aker Well, Veda did state that if Setsuna's stamina could make it, 00 Quanta was able to wipe out the entire ELS forces. So 00Q is pretty much the epitome of godlike gundams

Like i stated before we dont know what the 00Q is capable of since it showed up in the last 10min of the movie and all it did was teleport, block some attacks and made the els hive turn into a flower. Judging by the info were given the 00Q wouldnt even have to fight all that much, it could destroy universes with the power it has inside.

If I had to bet on pilots and mechs, it would be Heero and Wing Zero Custom. Wing Zero has the Zero system, which can analyze the combat around it and then predict paths of the possible outcomes for the pilot. Coordinators have enhance traits and intelligence, but even then they're only human.
Plus, Heero will do whatever it takes to ensure peace, even it means to take a life.
@puntymario agree with you. when you have a machine that can tell all the possible outcomes of a battle (wing zero), and all you have to do is GUIDE it to the one you want, you can beat anything. including Kira's precious SEED mode.
@Liege2133 Strike Freedom uses Wing Zero's "combining beam rifle concept," but the beam rifle is weaker. Although it has the Dragoons, Wing Zero would probably beat it on Earth due to greater firepower and SF's inability to deploy Dragoons. SF would probably win in space.

@200147380 Actually, the rifle doesn't even have that limit. WZC only broke down because of previous damage. It doesn't even make sense that the rifle needed more than a shot to punch through such a small target - seeing as how it has the concentrated power of multiple nuclear blasts.
@tenou213 No, it does not have the proper cooling system a war class ship does, it can't sustain firing like that...and its not a nuclear blast...yes the gundam runs on a super compact nuclear engine, but the rifle gets the energy supply trough the gundam, its practically a mega particle beam cannon miniaturized in the form of a rifle, however its just as lethal
@ShowersNeiked No, I wasn't saying that the blast itself is nuclear because that would be too inefficient. I'm saying its yield is nuclear in scale and concentrated as well - therefore having that much difficult in penetrating like 200 yards of armor is rather implausible.
And regarding the cooling system, that isn't what made Wing Zero Custom's -arms collapse-. That isn't what a meltdown looks like and all the canonical sources I've read explain that previous battle damage was taking its toll.

@6Baltej6 no offence but besides block conventional weaponry, phase shift kinda sucks as armor. first off it weight roughly 5x as much as regular gundam armor, and uses a large amount of energy to take hits, so its impractical for most mass produced MS. second unlike other armors, once the MS using phase shift loses a limb, it will drain even faster. all in all phase shift has potential, but unless you have a NGC, its pretty worthless in CE, let alone the other universes

And the story was just complete and utter garbage, by comparison to the rest. Burning Gundam/ Shining Gundam would destroy Strike Freedom due to a much better pilot, Domon, piloting it. Wing Zero would utterly annhilate Strike Freedom. It could read what outcome would lead to where and avoid it, and then counter. So your it would win, is invalid.

At least I wasn't saying Hi-Nu Gundam would destroy Strike Freedom, I wasn't bias on that decision. Burning Gundam has it's super mode, that enhances the mechs abilities, and Wing Zero can predict what could happen/will happen. And I know Domon isn't the best pilot, but he's better then Kira. Heero > most.

@lkilindo1 It's a coolant system designed to keep the engines it uses to move cool. The sparkles it releases are actually spent fuel rods the kinetic energy created by the "flapping" keeps cool using liquid cooling.

sure there is no more piledrive shield but the wings itself can be shields frm attks frm enemies just like the piledriver shield.and besides it can protect the wing zero custom when it enter the atmosphere

@Matrix70151 as i said before the moonlight butterfly can cover an entire planet all ar once. so no matter how you quantize, once you begin to reform you will be disentigrated regardless of where you are. also since the Turn A can turn its entire body into an I-field, any beam weapon near it even beam sabers would be entirely useless. so the raiser sword would fail.

@omegashinobi I think you guys are overdoing it a bit. 00 Raiser and 00Quanta shouldnt even be considered since at this point in Gundam history it is the strongest gundam to ever exist.The 00 Burst mode pretty much mind fucks everyone in a 500 mile radius and we dont even know what the 00Quanta is fully capable of. For all we know it could send the ELS to attack anything or it could merge and absorb other gundams or rip them apart molecule by molecule. Turn A would win against wing

Like i stated before we dont know what the 00Q is capable of since it showed up in the last 10min of the movie and all it did was teleport, block some attacks and made the els hive turn into a flower. Judging by the info were given the 00Q wouldnt even have to fight all that much, it could destroy universes with the power it has inside.

@qu7aker heyi haven't watched that show in yrs, but thats besides the point. i mean sure the 00Q is quite powerful, but it only has a few weapons, and most of them were thrown away before teleporting to the ELS planet. plus it didn't make the ELS do anything, they just understood eachotherand the rest was history. so i dought it could beat Turn A or destroy universes, but yeah lets agree to disagree

Their are plenty of people in the Gundam franchise that have go toe to toe with a gundam in lesser mobile suits and either won or fought to a stalemate!! @ChaosShadoWolfe first off the only way for the unicorn to have a chance at winning is to have it in NT-D Mode. but for that to happen you would need a newtype enemy. the problem: Heero IS'T a newtype, therefore it can never go into NT-D mode. basically Unicorn is screweed/

If I had to bet on pilots and mechs, it would be Heero and Wing Zero Custom. Wing Zero has the Zero system, which can analyze the combat around it and then predict paths of the possible outcomes for the pilot. Coordinators have enhance traits and intelligence, but even then they're only human.
Plus, Heero will do whatever it takes to ensure peace, even it means to take a life.

@Liege2133 Strike Freedom uses Wing Zero's "combining beam rifle concept," but the beam rifle is weaker. Although it has the Dragoons, Wing Zero would probably beat it on Earth due to greater firepower and SF's inability to deploy Dragoons. SF would probably win in space.

@200147380 Actually, the rifle doesn't even have that limit. WZC only broke down because of previous damage. It doesn't even make sense that the rifle needed more than a shot to punch through such a small target - seeing as how it has the concentrated power of multiple nuclear blasts.

@tenou213 No, it does not have the proper cooling system a war class ship does, it can't sustain firing like that...and its not a nuclear blast...yes the gundam runs on a super compact nuclear engine, but the rifle gets the energy supply trough the gundam, its practically a mega particle beam cannon miniaturized in the form of a rifle, however its just as lethal

@ShowersNeiked No, I wasn't saying that the blast itself is nuclear because that would be too inefficient. I'm saying its yield is nuclear in scale and concentrated as well - therefore having that much difficult in penetrating like 200 yards of armor is rather implausible.
And regarding the cooling system, that isn't what made Wing Zero Custom's -arms collapse-. That isn't what a meltdown looks like and all the canonical sources I've read explain that previous battle damage was taking its toll.

@6Baltej6 no offence but besides block conventional weaponry, phase shift kinda sucks as armor. first off it weight roughly 5x as much as regular gundam armor, and uses a large amount of energy to take hits, so its impractical for most mass produced MS. second unlike other armors, once the MS using phase shift loses a limb, it will drain even faster. all in all phase shift has potential, but unless you have a NGC, its pretty worthless in CE, let alone the other universes

@Liege2133 Well, as established by most Gundam fans, Gundam SEED is not a REAL Gundam series. By pilot standards or mech standards. And the story was just complete and utter garbage, by comparison to the rest. Burning Gundam/ Shining Gundam would destroy Strike Freedom due to a much better pilot, Domon, piloting it. Wing Zero would utterly annhilate Strike Freedom. It could read what outcome would lead to where and avoid it, and then counter. So your it would win, is invalid.

@JerBear772 Yeah and I'm also saying Gundam SEED was a failure of a series that should of been burned as well. Domon and Heero were much better pilots then the pilot with hesitation, Kira. At least I wasn't saying Hi-Nu Gundam would destroy Strike Freedom, I wasn't bias on that decision. Burning Gundam has it's super mode, that enhances the mechs abilities, and Wing Zero can predict what could happen/will happen. And I know Domon isn't the best pilot, but he's better then Kira. Heero > most.

@lkilindo1 It's a coolant system designed to keep the engines it uses to move cool. The sparkles it releases are actually spent fuel rods the kinetic energy created by the "flapping" keeps cool using liquid cooling.
