I don't know about you but it sounds more of a blues melody then any jazz riff due to the minor phrasing and not a 4/2 rhythm either. Jazz has alot of dominant ,augmented, and inversions of the regular major chords and usually has alot of transitional notes that don't exactly fit in a certain key more focused on chromaticism and sometimes dissonant sounds to really spice up the melody to give it more flow when they do finally revert to the root note of a phrasing.
