When I watched the performance I took that you forced the card with the rubberband on (someway) and take of the card with the cardboard. So after you show the card in your wallet.

Personally I think having half a card stuck to the back of an old credit card is much more practical but I presume you cant make them believe they saw both sides, nice version but not quite good enough to make me create a whole new gimmick set. Thanks though

I prefer tricks that don't require rigged objects or duplicate cards. Tricks using a normal deck of cards makes it more amazing because when you hand them the deck for inspection they don't know how you did it. Excellent tutorials though. Your the number one magician I learn from!

@XtremeGz fair enough bud! thats a good point but if you mix skill with a little gimmick that you actually only use for 15 seconds and then you switch the gimmick with a clean piece of paper! i reakon its worth it! =P and since I have performed this trick not one spectator has suspected the piece of paper! they all think I stole a card away!

Nice tutorial and very valid points at the beginning. The one problem I had with the trick was.... what really was the point of the envolope? To me, it just looked like you used the envelope to mark the cut, and then take it out straight away.... why didn't you just show the card? This isn't a hateful comment, it is just a think I thought..

just a helpful comment. This is a transition, not a transpsition. Transposition is when two objects transpose (switch places) and transition is a fancy and less geeky word for teleport ^^
