And the drill team or flag team whatever they call it now? Whoa! They need a lot of work on their coordination with the music, the part where they kick up in the air together, Mrs. D... if you're reading my comments on this......you should be more or just as strict on the flag team as you are on the band or at least get someone just as strict on the flags, as you are and have been on the musicians, OK? @ afrosensous from one drum major to another, my respect (I've seen the old uniforms, but it was from a different time). Drum Major/Drumline captain 91-92 here. 20 years and going, I'm proud to have been part of this organization. No others have stepped up. Mrs. D is a dedicated educator with hard working ethics and most of us take them to heart. All of us who have been part this band truly share this camaradie.

i dont get it, did they suck too much cock to win 20 yrs in a row? for a colorguard to take the ax. award when they dont do what a colorguard should do, it kind of awkward. try tossing something....

I'm surprised a band like this hasn't increased in size yet. Well they are really good as they are now. One of my favorite low division bands, using the most of what you got.

Yes, I'm a drum captain from the LA High Band of 1982/83. Go Reomans. your uniforms are a helluva lot better than what we had. We wore sashes and cumberbuns with wack-ass hats. Also, always try-out for All-City. It's a great experience.

nice to know, my old band, is still doing it's thing!, I graduated when the band when we won our 9th straight title, now 11yrs later, the LAHS Roman "Blue Devils" are still going strong!

Um get original, take to long getting off the field, not using the field enough, did i mention originality missing in this band. I saw many things from other schools.

PS the balloons are cheesy it will kill the show if it was a higher ranking compition

Quite clean this year, i must admit they deserved this year but not a deserving 20 championships...some years honestly...made no sense how they won...especially 2008...

@bhstrumpet08 Wow i don't remember 05'. My freshmen year was 06' and it was very good from my rememberance. I was in it my freshmen year through 11th. Many members and alumni get angry towards me because I always spoke the truth of this band. The thing with them is they used to have a good percussion line. that was over 10 years ago. 2007 was a bit weary too like 2008.

WE can hate on LA as much as we want but you can't watch teh show and tell me they aren't clean.... Miss D knows what she is doing with these kids... they deserve it.
