Very nice version and effectively colder. Would have fit as the original song very well. There's some info on the Art of Mix album on discogs for those you are interested (1992).

Art Of Mix were one of the DJ services labels in the 80's, which featured hits compilation which were all re-edited as a extended DJ-friendly Versions, means they are easier to mix with other tracks.

There's nothing new on these releases. This is just a "Cut n' paste" versions, done with a 1/4" tape, a knife and glue. Nowdays, with any simple audio editing software, you can you can get much better results in a few minutes...
