If you like this movie, READ THE BOOK by Oliver Sacks! He's a famous neurologist who tells REAL stories about his patients, and they all have crazy neurological problems which lead to some great tales.

"The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat" is another great book by the same author. GO READ THEM!

My Mom and I were at a used video sale and Awakenings was one of the titles... we weren't sure if it would be a good movie or not (because of the PG13 rating), but decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we bought it! It was a highly moving film, and Robert DeNiro gave an excellent performance. thanks for uloading this clip! :)

The higher the rating the more likely a movie will contain too much unnecessary violence, sex, language or whatnot. I try to watch clean movies if possible.

Awakenings was perfect, except for one F-word.
