What if this version is build in some new artificial body? On first place there won't be any fish, if there is no fish there won't be any birds and if some bird went into such deep place with no marine life, I would consider that the bird will did before it actually hits it.

If birds and bats are getting knocked out of the sky by wind turbine propelers, then this looks like certain death for underwater life.

Ya, I didn't even think about that. I wonder what impact it will have on the underwater life. Obviously this is not addressed on Verdant's website.
