  • It's a great cause, but Michael Pollan is wrong in his claim that the policy cause "is ... 'cause we subsidize junk food and we don't subsidize healthy food." In fact, the junk food ingredients lack "price responsiveness" on both supply and demand sides AND we ended traditional, non subsidy farm policy (lowered, eliminated price floors & supply management). Farm share of corn flakes/ & bread is probably around 1%. Explained at "Farm Bill Primer" "zspace" "Brad Wilson" We must teach foodies now
