@fruitbraker no you dont. edward is like 15 levels higher than ike so he wouldnt get 100 xp from him even on easy mode >_>. it looks like easy because of the low amount of enemies but who cares.
@fruitbraker Not necesarily, you don´t get always 100xp he´s a Trueblade lvl 13 obviously he´s too high leveled, its probably normal mode. When your lvl its way higher than your enemy it doesn´t matter if its a boss or no, you get less xp than when you are under his lvl.
@Trimush121 yea lol. its too hard for me atleast to do it on hard mode since exp isnt plentiful as much for edward to own ike. and i like ur use of battle saves lol
I had a harder time taking out Rhys with Aran. He had a support with Shinon, plus Shinon had Daunt. Edward had to get off 2 Astra in a row to kill Shinon, and could only miss once, and Rhys was completely maxed out. Aran could only hit once and had a hit of 51 even WITHOUT Shinon. I needed Impale to KO him. Shinon and Rhys had the luxury of being maxed while Edward and Aran were freshly promoted.
I always have ZIhark take out Ike on turn 12, to get as much exp as possible. Last time, ZIhark was at Lv8 with 51 HP, 31 Str, 20 Mag, 40 Skill, 39 Sp, 26 Def, and 24 Res. I reset a lot so I max stats early, but I had to, because I first had to take out Boyd on turn 11, and he was fully capped except for 8 Mag (which did cap later).
I gave Zihark Imbue and Vantage, along with Adept and Astra. Imbue REALLY helped against Ike who ranged him for 19 damage..
@SacredBlackKnight .. after Boyd hit Zihark for 21. Got to heal off Ike's hit, plus 1, when my turn came around. It took an Adept + Astra + critical hit combination from a Killing Edge to take out Boyd AND Ike in one round.
Which was hard since Zihark's biorhythm by turn 11 is at Bad, and then Worst on turn 12, while Boyd and Ike have Good/Best -__-
I beat him with level 1 Trueblade Edward. I let him attack four times with a Brave Sword. It did 7 damage each hit with 100% accuracy. Ike had 24 dmg and 52% accuracy. Edward hit, then hit him with a critical, then Ike missed and Edward finished with an Astrum :)
i'm glad edward killed ike. I like Edward way more than Ike in my opinion. I'm not really sure why but I do. I could never get my Edward at this high of a level at this point in the game.
I love how there's an argument about how much of a fail/win eddie is comparing to the other unitsxD even though this video is just about how eddie beats ike. Anyway..... this may be a stupid question, but what does AS mean?
For anyone who asked how he was such a high level, I know it's stupid, but I had my Edward at level 20 trueblade lmao, I pretty much only trained him until he was maxed out.
I've always thought it was funny that if you managed to kill Ike, he just comments on how the Daein army held out longer than he expected. Doesn't even mention the gaping wound you just gave him.
@ShinigamiTony i gave him a few levels of bonus experience and sent him out (usually on his own) into a big group, and he would get 5+ levels a battle.
@ShinigamiTony its not that hard.by the end of part 1 i had edward a lv 5 swordmaster, nolan a lv 7 warrior, michiah was lv 20 b4 she promoted, and sothe was lv 17. Thats on easy difficulty mind u, but it wouldnt b too much harder on hard mode.
@StickmenBattles ahh i sometimes have them at those levels too (except for sothe) sometimes i like to use Meg, just for the fun of it, but usually i use Jill and Aran
@ShinigamiTony It's not that hard. Just give him Paragon when you get it, SOME BEXP here and there (but not too much because then he'll have horrible stats) never leave him out of a battle, defeat most of the bosses with him and OCCASIONALLY neglect another character to make Edward better (Don't do it often or else you'll have one epic unit and the rest are terrible). From my second playthrough and on, I always have him as a Trueblade by the beginning of The Price, which is enough to kill Ike.
@ShinigamiTony (Continuing from the last post) Take out the Tigers near Ike and move in with Caladbolg or the Brave Sword. Caladbolg has like a five% chance of not killing him, and the Brave Sword has about a 40% chance of not killing him because Astra normally activates.
@ShinigamiTony You probably had everyone fight rather than just a few, you should put into account who is actually good and who is bad. I only had Micaiah, Edward, Sothe (Barely), and Nolan do any work. That way they would just go WHOOSH and get massive levels.
@TheCousinRumble because i have the battle window on "detailed" which it only shows those numbers, that's when you have to do the math to figure out how much damage i'll do. (attack-foe's defence)
I did the same thing on my second NM playthrough. Except that I waited for Ike to start moving(I needed him away from Soren due to their A support), then had Eddie wait in Ike's range with the Tempest(with his A Nolan support). Ike went to attack Eddie, left me with ~70 of my HP, activating both Resolve and Wrath. I critted him twice, ending the chapter.
@darkandroid125 Ike will not kill you. My Edward (with a brave sword) has successfully defeated Ike in three out of my first four playthroughs. In the one playthrough that he didn't kill Ike, he still got his health down to 3, so to anyone who wants to kill Ike, just get Edward up to trueblade and give him a brave sword. He normally Astras Ike before he can even counter.
(P.S. It helps to give Ike a weapon that isn't Ragnell just before the end of chapter 11 to lower his defence.)
I just beat Ike today. What I did was that I had Ed go down to the bottom of the map with Jill as backup. After 6 turns of killing laguz, my posse was within striking distance of Ike. I offed Soren first using Jill because he has an A support with Ike and has Daunt. Then I started my assualt.
Begin fight!
Ed does 12 DMG, Ike misses, Ed procs Meteor Sword, hitting 4 times, KOing Ike.
I could have had Nolan or Aran backup Ed, but they were busy blocking laguz. No one else would have done any good(Taur gets 2HKO'd, Sothe/Leo/Z are only Lv6, Laura is too frail and slow, and Volug has gauge issues.)
Oh wow, a tier 3 beat a tier 2 unit. And this isn't the hardest chapter in the game on easy mode (which is obviously what you're playing, considering how Edward actually got to 20/20/13). No chapter is hard on EM.
lol my Edward (I'm on part 3 on bout my 11th play through, cuz this game pwns) is raising his weapon level, and oddly enough, he is still a swordmaster. it is almost at SS and he isn't trueblade yet. i call it a blessing but WHY did it happen? only working with him :) or should it be :(? lol
well for me edward maxed everything more quickly than anyone else except for defense and resistance, neither of which even reached 20. i do prefer mia and zihark, though, because they both always max everything for me.
the dawn brigade just all suck pure and simple i tried to use Nolan only does 1 hit almost every time, Edward can't take a hit, Leonardo just can't do enough damage, Sothe sucks at the end of the game, Miciah is ok i guess... unless she gets attacked...
I raised Sothe to level 20 so his stats were okay when he gets promoted... raised Michiah to level 20 twice so her stats were good when she gets promoted...
@0nlyfu Hey don't call him failward. Especially if you level him up he can your most powerful ally. I was lucky enough that each time he leveled up, he had increased in almost every single area. In the end, Edward was stronger than my Ike.
You do realize that Edward has literally 0 backstory and character development throughout the game, right? At least Sothe had some real Support Conversations and backstory in Path of Radiance. Edward is just some shota swordsman dressed in a red coat. He's about as bland as bland can be.
@0nlyfu Riiiiight... Sothe lost all my respect when he takes 3 missions to even freaking show up. And you really even call his backstory better? You have Edward growing up in the streets, moving from town to town on his own strength from his childhood, planning to join the Mad King's army. When said king fell, he had nothing left... until he joined up with a fledgling group calling themselves the Dawn Brigade. Sothe... Er, he pledged to protect Micaiah. Which he doesn't even do for 3 missions.
@UltimateKingSonic Wow, major bias. Good job making a shitload of extrapolations based on less than 10 lines of real dialogue. I can make Sothe's story look exciting if I do that, too. Here, watch:
You have Sothe living on the streets of Daein as an orphan, stealing from people to survive. Did I mention that's why he's a Thief in game? Do they ever explain why Edward wields a sword? Oh, right, they don't, because he's just a stereotypical anime pretty boy shota faggot with a sword.
@UltimateKingSonic Sothe meets up with a girl(Micaiah), who takes a liking to him and looks out for him. They become like brother and sister. Eventually, they're separated, and Sothe goes on a journey to try and find her. During his journey, he meets Ike and fights in the Mad King's War, after which he finally meets up with Micaiah again.
And that's just his PoR story. Compare that shit to the crappy backstory you just made up(because most of that is not mentioned in-game) about Edward.
@0nlyfu Alright pal, you're passing troll levels. Besides, Sothe will always be considered worse than Edward for the simple fact that he's a Jagen. A crutch character. GOING TO SUCK.
Sothe is made a main character, he becomes the f***ing king to Micaiah's queen with an A-support. And that's really his backstory? Less expansive than Edward's? Sothe is an unexplored, pathetic mess of a character, and I'd soon assasinate him than take him as a king.
@0nlyfu I will concede this, that due to FE's mechanics it's entierly possible to turn characters others thought useless into powerhouses, and take top tier characters and leave them for dead. But that doesn't excuse trashing one character without backing up why. Everyone will have different methods to train character, just because they don't do it your way doesn't make them a n00b. So in the end, we can at least agree Edward has his place in the game just like everyone else. Happy?
@ThisGirlisColdHearte But thats what supports (even thought the actual conversation sucks) are there for, set edward with anyone with earth affinity and he should be able to dodge for a while...unless he decides to try to be manly and block axes with his face.
@CODmaster548 Oh, look, yet another ignorant Edward fanboy. First off, he is in no way the best Trueblade in the game. Mia is. Her averages, affinity, availability, and utility are all superior to Edward's, not to mention that she requires FAR less resources and favoritism to raise.
@0nlyfu He has much better growth rates than Mia (No offense) and he doesn't requiere any favoritism to train nor does he need resources, unless you are a shitty player that doesn't have the brains to use some units that start out bad without getting them killed, especially in hard mode. Ha, I bet you suck so much that you don't even train Leonardo because you don't know how, anyone good at FE would know that the dawn brigade has the characters with greatest potential if you train them well.
@CODmaster548 I like how half your entire response is insults towards me. u mad bro?
Allow me to systematically dismantle your poorly thought out argument.
First off, Edward leeches EXP(among other resources, such as Stat Boosters) from far superior and more important Dawn Brigade units(Nolan, Jill, Volug, etc). On top of that, Zihark joins the DB extremely early in the game, which renders Edward completely obsolete due to his superior stats and affinity(Earth >>>>>>>> Light).
@0nlyfu First of all considering your arguments that babying units is a waste of XP, you are contradicting yourself by saying that you must use Jill in the DB considering that Haar comes much better and his stats are much better than Jill's ( Jill sucks).
With Nolan and Volug I agree they are great if you train them however they don't need that much exp to be strong enough to beat the part 3 chapters on hard easilly. I never said anything against Zihark, I always use him and Edward for Endgame.
@CODmaster548 Second, Leonardo is by far the worst Marksman in the game. Shinon is the best, followed by Rolf. Both those two have superior growths and availability, and they don't leech EXP or resources from a team that desperately needs them(Greil Mercenaries are far less pressed for resources than DB on HM).
You know, the way you argue for Leonardo("raising him the right way"? This isn't Pokemon) just makes you look like an uninformed douchebag who has no idea how FE's mechanics work.
@0nlyfu Leonardo doesn't suck, by saying that you are proving you have never trained him, his growth rate may seem crappy but trust me he never gets RNG screwed, or at least he never did in 12 playthroughs. I agree Shinon is extremly great and he is amazingly useful for every chapter he is in. I'll have to disagree with Rolf considering you have 2 archers in the same "team" it would be unwise to train both and Shinon is the best alternative. I use Shinon and Leo for the engame, every time.
@0nlyfu take a look at this bitch Name HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Edward 85 60 5 65 60 50 35 20 Mia 70 45 15 60 65 35 40 25 Hp Edward Str Edward Mag doesn't matter Skill Edward but 5% doesn't really matter Spees Mia but 5% doesn't really matter Luck Edward Def Mia 5% again Res Mia but 5% once again Is this enough research for you bitch?
@CODmaster548 No, it's not NEARLY enough. You left out things like..
Availability: Greil Mercenaries have far more available EXP, and it's far easier to distribute because they're don't desperate need levels to be useful in Part 3
Averages: Mia caps almost every stat Edward does with half the effort/resources. More output for less input. This is a strategy game. Learn to play efficiently, noob.
@0nlyfu Availbility: First of all, IF you are DECENT for FE games you should be able to beat DB chapters in part 3 easilly on hard, while only having 4 tier 2 units levels 1 or +, it just requires some planning. To compensate the exp you can simple choose to put the DB members on Tibarn's team for part 4, in the chapter where you fight Izuka I always get Leo, Nolan and Edward to level 20 tier 3 ( my first units to reach that level).
Averages: Doesn't matter, RNG screwing is still possible.
@CODmaster548 Utility: Mia contributes far more to the Greil Mercenaries than Edward does to the Dawn Brigade. Due to his severely bad base stats and avoid, Edward needs to be babied until he's strong enough to take care of himself. This means he's a liability for almost all of Part 1 and half of Part 3.
Affinity: Fire > Light on a Trueblade, unless you want to look like a retard by arguing that an affinity that gives DEFENSE to a class that dodges everything at endgame is good.
@0nlyfu Utility: Mia starts off by not being able to kill any units on her own (maybe except for swordmasters) and even in greater levels she is a liability because of her crappy strength. Edward might be a liability until around chapter 5, unless you got RNG screwed, with his great strength and speed growths he'll be able to kill from a myrmidon to a soldier by himself, and because of his luck growths and speed he'll have a good dodging ability.(hard)
When I played this chapter (on Easy mode, or I would've had one heck of a hard time w/ it), I had to move ALL of my units out of Ike's way when he started moving toward the line on Turn 11 or so. I saw the dialogue when he attacked an Ally unit:
"Why would you seek me out?"
And I was like, "What the heck?! Me seeking YOU out? I've been trying to avoid you at all costs!!!" LOL.
lol i had the same problem except it was with Boyd. That ass wipe sucks when I use him but owns the people on Miciah's side. Comes in THUMP! dead. it happened at least 3 times in a row. I made sure i gave him crappy weapons before that map but he still kills anyone in the way.
Really? :O My brother likes Mia too. I'm the only kid in the family that respects Eddie xD, he's really good if you maxed out his def o.o" When I was using Mia, she slaughtered so much people, like half the army was dead because of her, and she was a I think a lv 10-15 swordsmaster, or maybe a trueblade already, don't remember. So yeah, I just put her into the enemy range, and boom, only like what? 5+ people standing? XD she's a pretty good unit.
No actually, you can, but when the Dawn Brigade meet the Greil Mercenaries, the silver haired maiden first launches at attack to the laguz, forcing Ike's team to fight back.
WELL........you can't say it was lucky because Edward wouldve killed him anyway, Ike had every advantage possible, and I would have grown Ike as well as Eddy.....PLUS, it proves that It is very much possible that Edward/Mia can take Ike in a fight.
im sure theres other characters that can beat Ike if they were as high a level as Edward was...and what advantages did Ike have? Edward had 13 levels on him >_> and even then Ike could have hit Edward back if he didn't get a crit (it does happen) and killed him in two turns. why dont you try doing it with both at level 20? I'm sure the results would be much differen, if you could beat him THEN id be impressed ;)

Why your battle information shows ATK, DEF and AS( and doesn't show the damage)?
TheCousinRumble 1 year ago
@TheCousinRumble because i have the battle window on "detailed" which it only shows those numbers, that's when you have to do the math to figure out how much damage i'll do. (attack-foe's defence)
Trimush121 1 year ago
I did the same thing on my second NM playthrough. Except that I waited for Ike to start moving(I needed him away from Soren due to their A support), then had Eddie wait in Ike's range with the Tempest(with his A Nolan support). Ike went to attack Eddie, left me with ~70 of my HP, activating both Resolve and Wrath. I critted him twice, ending the chapter.

Re: Ike was a 20/20 Hero. Edward was a 20/13/1 Trueblade.
Ike's stats:
HP:50/Str:27/Skl:30/Spd:30/Lck:17/Def:26/Res:9
Ed's:
HP:44/Str:26/Skl:32/Spd:32/Lck:21/Def:19/Res:10
Ike had an A support with Soren. Ed with Nolan.
P.S: Don't try this on HM. Ike will kill you dead, and not even Edward will save you.
darkandroid125 1 year ago
@darkandroid125 Ike will not kill you. My Edward (with a brave sword) has successfully defeated Ike in three out of my first four playthroughs. In the one playthrough that he didn't kill Ike, he still got his health down to 3, so to anyone who wants to kill Ike, just get Edward up to trueblade and give him a brave sword. He normally Astras Ike before he can even counter.
(P.S. It helps to give Ike a weapon that isn't Ragnell just before the end of chapter 11 to lower his defence.)
orlu1732 1 year ago
I just beat Ike today. What I did was that I had Ed go down to the bottom of the map with Jill as backup. After 6 turns of killing laguz, my posse was within striking distance of Ike. I offed Soren first using Jill because he has an A support with Ike and has Daunt. Then I started my assualt.
Begin fight!
Ed does 12 DMG, Ike misses, Ed procs Meteor Sword, hitting 4 times, KOing Ike.
darkandroid125 1 year ago
Ed's stats(Lv3 TB):
HP:46/Str:28/Skl:34/Spd:34/Lck:22/Def:20/Res:13
Ike's HP, Str, Skl, Spd, and Def were capped.
I could have had Nolan or Aran backup Ed, but they were busy blocking laguz. No one else would have done any good(Taur gets 2HKO'd, Sothe/Leo/Z are only Lv6, Laura is too frail and slow, and Volug has gauge issues.)

jajajaj about time someone pwned ike, he can't win even with soren at his side ;_;

Oh wow, a tier 3 beat a tier 2 unit. And this isn't the hardest chapter in the game on easy mode (which is obviously what you're playing, considering how Edward actually got to 20/20/13). No chapter is hard on EM.

@0nlyfu Hey don't call him failward. Especially if you level him up he can your most powerful ally. I was lucky enough that each time he leveled up, he had increased in almost every single area. In the end, Edward was stronger than my Ike.

@CODmaster548 Hell yeah. Not to mention his character is actually better than Sothe's... The guy was my one-man-army by the end.
By the way, YEAH! YOU RUN, IKE! YOU GOT CHOPPED IN FRIGGING HALF RIGHT THEN! WOO!
UltimateKingSonic 1 year ago
@UltimateKingSonic Edward's character is better than Sothe's? lolwut?
You do realize that Edward has literally 0 backstory and character development throughout the game, right? At least Sothe had some real Support Conversations and backstory in Path of Radiance. Edward is just some shota swordsman dressed in a red coat. He's about as bland as bland can be.
0nlyfu 1 year ago
@0nlyfu Riiiiight... Sothe lost all my respect when he takes 3 missions to even freaking show up. And you really even call his backstory better? You have Edward growing up in the streets, moving from town to town on his own strength from his childhood, planning to join the Mad King's army. When said king fell, he had nothing left... until he joined up with a fledgling group calling themselves the Dawn Brigade. Sothe... Er, he pledged to protect Micaiah. Which he doesn't even do for 3 missions.
UltimateKingSonic 1 year ago
@UltimateKingSonic Wow, major bias. Good job making a shitload of extrapolations based on less than 10 lines of real dialogue. I can make Sothe's story look exciting if I do that, too. Here, watch:
You have Sothe living on the streets of Daein as an orphan, stealing from people to survive. Did I mention that's why he's a Thief in game? Do they ever explain why Edward wields a sword? Oh, right, they don't, because he's just a stereotypical anime pretty boy shota faggot with a sword.
0nlyfu 1 year ago
@UltimateKingSonic Sothe meets up with a girl(Micaiah), who takes a liking to him and looks out for him. They become like brother and sister. Eventually, they're separated, and Sothe goes on a journey to try and find her. During his journey, he meets Ike and fights in the Mad King's War, after which he finally meets up with Micaiah again.
And that's just his PoR story. Compare that shit to the crappy backstory you just made up(because most of that is not mentioned in-game) about Edward.
0nlyfu 1 year ago
@0nlyfu Alright pal, you're passing troll levels. Besides, Sothe will always be considered worse than Edward for the simple fact that he's a Jagen. A crutch character. GOING TO SUCK.
Sothe is made a main character, he becomes the f***ing king to Micaiah's queen with an A-support. And that's really his backstory? Less expansive than Edward's? Sothe is an unexplored, pathetic mess of a character, and I'd soon assasinate him than take him as a king.
(Do you even know what shota means...)
UltimateKingSonic 1 year ago
@0nlyfu I will concede this, that due to FE's mechanics it's entierly possible to turn characters others thought useless into powerhouses, and take top tier characters and leave them for dead. But that doesn't excuse trashing one character without backing up why. Everyone will have different methods to train character, just because they don't do it your way doesn't make them a n00b. So in the end, we can at least agree Edward has his place in the game just like everyone else. Happy?

ThisGirlisColdHearte 1 year ago
@ThisGirlisColdHearte But thats what supports (even thought the actual conversation sucks) are there for, set edward with anyone with earth affinity and he should be able to dodge for a while...unless he decides to try to be manly and block axes with his face.
aquafarie324 1 year ago
@CODmaster548 Oh, look, yet another ignorant Edward fanboy. First off, he is in no way the best Trueblade in the game. Mia is. Her averages, affinity, availability, and utility are all superior to Edward's, not to mention that she requires FAR less resources and favoritism to raise.
Do your research. Edward is trash.
0nlyfu 1 year ago
@0nlyfu He has much better growth rates than Mia (No offense) and he doesn't requiere any favoritism to train nor does he need resources, unless you are a shitty player that doesn't have the brains to use some units that start out bad without getting them killed, especially in hard mode. Ha, I bet you suck so much that you don't even train Leonardo because you don't know how, anyone good at FE would know that the dawn brigade has the characters with greatest potential if you train them well.
CODmaster548 1 year ago
@CODmaster548 I like how half your entire response is insults towards me. u mad bro?
Allow me to systematically dismantle your poorly thought out argument.
First off, Edward leeches EXP(among other resources, such as Stat Boosters) from far superior and more important Dawn Brigade units(Nolan, Jill, Volug, etc). On top of that, Zihark joins the DB extremely early in the game, which renders Edward completely obsolete due to his superior stats and affinity(Earth >>>>>>>> Light).
0nlyfu 1 year ago
@0nlyfu First of all considering your arguments that babying units is a waste of XP, you are contradicting yourself by saying that you must use Jill in the DB considering that Haar comes much better and his stats are much better than Jill's ( Jill sucks).
With Nolan and Volug I agree they are great if you train them however they don't need that much exp to be strong enough to beat the part 3 chapters on hard easilly. I never said anything against Zihark, I always use him and Edward for Endgame.
CODmaster548 1 year ago
@CODmaster548 Second, Leonardo is by far the worst Marksman in the game. Shinon is the best, followed by Rolf. Both those two have superior growths and availability, and they don't leech EXP or resources from a team that desperately needs them(Greil Mercenaries are far less pressed for resources than DB on HM).
You know, the way you argue for Leonardo("raising him the right way"? This isn't Pokemon) just makes you look like an uninformed douchebag who has no idea how FE's mechanics work.
0nlyfu 1 year ago
@0nlyfu Leonardo doesn't suck, by saying that you are proving you have never trained him, his growth rate may seem crappy but trust me he never gets RNG screwed, or at least he never did in 12 playthroughs. I agree Shinon is extremly great and he is amazingly useful for every chapter he is in. I'll have to disagree with Rolf considering you have 2 archers in the same "team" it would be unwise to train both and Shinon is the best alternative. I use Shinon and Leo for the engame, every time.
CODmaster548 1 year ago
CODmaster548 1 year ago
@CODmaster548 No, it's not NEARLY enough. You left out things like..
Availability: Greil Mercenaries have far more available EXP, and it's far easier to distribute because they're don't desperate need levels to be useful in Part 3
Averages: Mia caps almost every stat Edward does with half the effort/resources. More output for less input. This is a strategy game. Learn to play efficiently, noob.
0nlyfu 1 year ago
@0nlyfu Availbility: First of all, IF you are DECENT for FE games you should be able to beat DB chapters in part 3 easilly on hard, while only having 4 tier 2 units levels 1 or +, it just requires some planning. To compensate the exp you can simple choose to put the DB members on Tibarn's team for part 4, in the chapter where you fight Izuka I always get Leo, Nolan and Edward to level 20 tier 3 ( my first units to reach that level).
Averages: Doesn't matter, RNG screwing is still possible.
CODmaster548 1 year ago
@CODmaster548 Utility: Mia contributes far more to the Greil Mercenaries than Edward does to the Dawn Brigade. Due to his severely bad base stats and avoid, Edward needs to be babied until he's strong enough to take care of himself. This means he's a liability for almost all of Part 1 and half of Part 3.
Affinity: Fire > Light on a Trueblade, unless you want to look like a retard by arguing that an affinity that gives DEFENSE to a class that dodges everything at endgame is good.
0nlyfu 1 year ago
@0nlyfu Utility: Mia starts off by not being able to kill any units on her own (maybe except for swordmasters) and even in greater levels she is a liability because of her crappy strength. Edward might be a liability until around chapter 5, unless you got RNG screwed, with his great strength and speed growths he'll be able to kill from a myrmidon to a soldier by himself, and because of his luck growths and speed he'll have a good dodging ability.(hard)
Affinity: Nothing to say, you are right.
CODmaster548 1 year ago

When I played this chapter (on Easy mode, or I would've had one heck of a hard time w/ it), I had to move ALL of my units out of Ike's way when he started moving toward the line on Turn 11 or so. I saw the dialogue when he attacked an Ally unit:
"Why would you seek me out?"
And I was like, "What the heck?! Me seeking YOU out? I've been trying to avoid you at all costs!!!" LOL.

Edward was in the third tier class, Ike was not.
he was also really high level third tier class AND he got a lucky crit...i don't see how this makes edward not suck >_>
AidenBlackheart13 2 years ago
WELL........you can't say it was lucky because Edward wouldve killed him anyway, Ike had every advantage possible, and I would have grown Ike as well as Eddy.....PLUS, it proves that It is very much possible that Edward/Mia can take Ike in a fight.
Trimush121 2 years ago
im sure theres other characters that can beat Ike if they were as high a level as Edward was...and what advantages did Ike have? Edward had 13 levels on him >_> and even then Ike could have hit Edward back if he didn't get a crit (it does happen) and killed him in two turns. why dont you try doing it with both at level 20? I'm sure the results would be much differen, if you could beat him THEN id be impressed ;)
