  • waaaay quieter than i thought

  • FREEDOM

  • What's this ?? The Germans "hating" on imports?? the old Classics , the Legends , The American Muscle Cars. THE V8 GODS!!!! THE TORQUE MONSTERS!!!! clearly the AUDI opposed to have his outsider "mark" its territory. Later that BMW decided to join in the childish behavior. Recognice!!!! Let this legend be driven they way it was meant to be,... now MOVE LEFT!!!!!!

  • I hate how they messed up the interior of the 2008-2012 challenger, you don't get a view of the hood from the inside of the car like this vintage challenger.

  • Get off to the right lane, losers!!

Great Challenger man, I love it!!!

  • This is Heaven and Hell!

Made in Heaven, to cruise the Hell!!

    THIS IS V8!!

  • Excellent video! I love how its from the point of view of the driver as no other video gives you the feeling its you driving it. I Love it!

  • WAS THIS CHALLENGER FASTER THAN THE 1970 TRANS-AM?

  • Now this is podracing.

  • is it a lady driving?

  • Great car man.

  • Mein Vater fuhr einen 78er Camaro, das Tacho ging bis 240 km/h und der Camaro zog bis zum Anschlag und noch weiter, leider hat er ihn verkauft :(

  • wie geild as sein muss... :)

  • cam right eye, mic left ear? must have looked like a funny scientist. sweet vid tho, great car

  • I love that at 1:50 the little toyota whatever pulls out, overtakes and then goes straight back into the slow lane coz the driver saw the rearview mirror and went "oh shit! its a dodge challenger!"

Beautiful machine, i would love one someday

  • This sounds a lot quieter than the fist part of this video

  • fucking sweet! glad to see europe enjoying our muscle cars and not those silly plastic rice burners! keep on rocking dude!!

  • @brandon6pk

Yes of course, those silly little cars you can´t enjoy only drive.

Here we have actually a price of 1,50€/l not gallone so it´s very expensive to drive fast. As I made my driver license in the late ´90ies you were really in danger driving below 100mph on the left side! My best car was a 2002 Ford Mondeo ST220 - I could drive 160mph now I drive only a silly Ford Scorpio from 1995 which ends at 131mph

  • Well that was fun....off to the kicking machine for selling my '74 Challenger

  • Nice ride! Custom instruments?

  • @Ebbeboy

Yep, check video description for car spex..

  • @66PaleRider I like the way the video is 4:40 is that intended?

Love the video. I always wanted to own a Challenger after seeing Vanishing Point when I was 17 all those years ago : ). This video gives me an insight as to how it would look behind the wheel.

    Two words: Effortless Speed.

  • @TJD24tamebandkk

Indeed intended. There are more 4:40 videos

In 2011 I started with 4:00 videos since my 440 is gone and replaced by a 400 stroked to 470.

    And 4:70 is impossible ;-)

  • I'm so fucking jelly...

  • 3.23 (see video description for details...)

  • What gear ratio? 3:23 or 3:55?

  • That seat belt aint going to do you much in a 160+ mph crash...

  • That is an example of Pure American Muscle

  • thats one sexy challenger you got there man

  • what a nice car and video! and the lenght is 440 xD

  • Yep, see (playlist) description...

  • do you have a six pack in it

  • DAMNNED LITTLE HIGH SPEED LANE INTRUDERS!!!! THEY ARE FOUND IN EVERY PLACE IN THE WORLD AND ALWAYS DO THE SAME THING: THEY BLOCK THE FUN OF THE PEOPLE WHO REALLY CAN ENJOY SPEEDING..... OTHER THAN THAT WHAT A RUN, MAN ...CHEERS.

  • THATS IT.IM GONNA BUY MY SELF A 70' DODGE CHALLANGER

  • That was 4,4 gallons of fuel in 4,4 minutes. Precisely!

  • So badass!!! And the time of the video is 440!!!!

  • @metal440 :)

  • They use left hand steering wheels in germany?

  • @OldestManInCanada yes, they drive on the right side just like in north america

  • Yes, a Tremec 5 or 6 speed and you'd really be flyin in overdrive !!

  • Awesome!!but you gotta get a Tremec TKO overdrive in there kid!

  • @staged67gspwr 5 or 6 speed would do this car well, 66palerider

  • @culcun

Is a new engine also ok?

Currently a 400->470 stroker is built for me ;-)

  • @66PaleRider I will allow that, but make sure you get my permission before the installation, LOL!! :)

  • very cool. like what you did with the car too.

  • Hey brotha !! what kind and size are your rime ?? i know they are stock look alikes but they are absolutely perfect !!! i want a set for my dart

  • @mattpavelich1

    17" American Racing AR500

I wanted the stock Magnum wheel look, but the handling benefits of less rubber.

  • Very good video! I like the alternative angle from the head cam. Shows us what you felt, like we were all there!

  • OH, WOW!! Much more exciting than the fixed camera video!!!!! Is there any more work done to the car?

  • @cyrusloynes

Since the previuos Autobahn vid I mounted Wilwood front disk brakes, TTI headers and 3" X pipe system, and a remanufactured 'extra eatra firm' steering box by Steer & Gear.

  • @66PaleRider Man, the memories that brings back! Front end gets kinda light at 130 huh?

  • @cmbacker49

No it doesn't; my MAS front spoiler keeps it down.

  • @66PaleRider

I only had the split chin spoilers under the front of mine back in the day. Looked cool but not too effective about keeping the front end planted. Small block also about 100 pounds lighter than that 440 you've got. 135 was all I had the guts to do in her. Got a 2010 now and it'll do that with the greatest of ease. Still miss the old gal though.

  • @cmbacker49 sounds like you went in the opposite direction to me, went from a real car to a computer with wheels ? tisk tisk

  • @cmbacker49 I used to get my '74 Buick Electra to an indicated 120, but it might have been 100 with the speedo needle buzzing, LOL--no front end movement, but it was heavy and scary nevertheless!!

  • Pure aweomeness!!
