@WHYNotEgoistBezelbub The coat that he wears is similar to the ones native people were given on reserves. They were from The Hudson Bay Company. So they were just trying to base things on realities of the time.

As a side note, I looked up some info on Wikipedia and found that the whole "health resort" thing was based in reality as well. But instead of a jerk like Preston, it was the founder of Colorado Springs.

I really like this episode. I'm glad that Sully isn't replaced by this guy, but I could see it actually still being an excellent show if that was how it went. :)

That was so funny that for some weird reason, Michaela asked for help with her jacket and she is so oblivious of the situation, yet all 3 of the others are all like, "awkward moment!" as everyone else can sense the jealousy, envy and uncomfortableness of it all!

I'm very glad that Daniel didn't replace Sully on the show, but I think John Schneider played this part very well. Good acting. And later when he returns to town I love it that there's finally another decent citizen in Colorado Springs.
