@forceflames2 I bought a wheel because I played some driving games and I love to drive, so I enjoy playing with wheel much more than keyboard. And the rig is just a mod, I don't remember where I got it, but you got credits on the video description.

@forceflames2 You can get it at almost any hardware store. I think this one is around 100-150$, but you also have some other good stuff from Logitech as the G25 and the new G27.

i hate it when that happen a truck comes around the corner and its trailer hits u when u have a perfect load worth a lot of money. I used to drive eggs across the usa on here and i hated stopping in the cities because cars would rear end my trailer and damage.

@dukes20084 Yeah that rear end bug is really annoying. When that happened I just used to move a bit forward and reverse against them, so they would stop there with emergency lights. But didn't always work.

On the recording of this video I had a Core2Duo E6400 with WindowsXP 32bit, 2Gb RAM and an nVidia 8800GT. Right now I got an i7 920 with Windows 7 Ultimate 64, 6GB RAM and ATI 5850.

The performance was good in both cases for this game, but I upgraded for other several reasons too long to put on this comment.

in the official site of xxXxx i found lots of haulin trucks but that was 1 year ago and now i remember that i saw a Kenworth (idk the model ..maybe t600 ..idk) dump combo in xxXxx it was green. but now there are only "extreme truckers" mods so im asking if someone got that dump combo kenworth can he upload it anywhere? can someone help? please

Best thing you can do is try contacting him on the forums. He uses to post in Truckpol Boards (can't post the link here, google and you'll find it easy), so just check him there, maybe you're lucky.

How is the Logitech Momo steering wheel? Would you recommend it for this game or would you recommend another wheel?

It's a great product in my opinion. Quality materials, good feeling, and doesn't feel like it's going to break or something while playing. I've had it for months (maybe 1-2 years now, not sure) and no problems at all. Anyway it's recommended for racing games, that stress the hardware a lot more, so for a truck sim sounds perfect. You also have the G25 but this game doesn't have clutch, so you have an useless pedal.

I think it's more than enough. At start it may feel a bit weird specially if you drive for real, but they worked the sensibity well. The steering speed increases as you turn more to one side, so it allows to do precise moves without the feeling that you need more turns. The G25 has more degrees but this is enough for me.

You've got Rigs of Rods, but you have to know how to install and configure it, but graphics are way different. Anyway, if you really like 18WoS and can afford 19$, you can buy the boxed version on a shop or buy from an online site...

This is off subject of the video but can someone tell my what the accesories upgades do in the game and how i use them? all i know atm is that the AVI dose weight checks for me

They do nothing at all... at least the ones like wing, advanced mirrors, etc... just add new stuff to the truck. About AVI, ABS... well, avi is what you said, but ABS... I never noticed it at all... never saw my truck drifting without the abs option ...

Thanks for the reply. and also how come your minimap is blue roads and mine are white.. and is there a way to get a GPS that tells me the roads to follow? i hate looking at my map all the time

You're welcome. About the minimap I guess it's because I use Cerrito's mod map (check description).

And I don't think there is any GPS here... it's not that bad to check map. Just do as in real life and paper-map: verify which is the next main city and pick that destination, or just memorize a two or three cities and follow the highway signals.

Nah, it's just one of the mods that I don't know why in some curves if the truck goes too fast it starts dancing here and there... It only happens to the AI vehicles. Sometimes is fun but others... well, you see.

If it's the same truck you should be able to upgrade at any service stop. Check the description for the credits so you can download the same if your's isn't this one.

Yes you can use wheel and pedals. It's easier to do turns and reverses as long as you don't suck at driving of course. Driving with keyboard has lots of limitation not only while turning also when mantaining a speed or braking. So yeah, it's not only more fun, is a LOT more fun.

You have to put it into your mod folder under haulin in my documents. But there are some other things to keep in mind, so you better look for some well explained tutorial out there. Good luck.
