The woman is correct, they are just waiting for them to die.This is how native people, are dealt with on a routine basis.These people have been abused by the government since the revolutionary war, they have the last names of the dutch slave owners,and were used to mine the iron that won the war with England..They are kind and family oriented people, and we should ALL make sure that they are treated with respect.They are still to this day, being subjected to prejudice,and discrimination.

This whole thing is terrible, however everyone who is continuing to live there is certainly not helping thier own personal health, regardless of how sick they are. MOVE AWAY and save your families and thier futures, whatever might be left of them. What a horrible thing to have happen but clearly its time to move away from the area.

@dwndak Tribal land-base...that is their land. How will a tribe up and move...and to where? How will they regain recognition after that? It's not as easy as picking up and moving. It is not their fault.

I'd rather cut my losses after being sold out by the lawyers and left with nothing and move away for my family and future generations to keep them healthy. Of course its not thier fault, but if a nuke falls on your land when your away would you move back for recongition or stay away in sadness... ?? I mean in the end if your lucky to still be somewhat healthy get the hell out!

@dwndak As a Native American, you lose your recognition if you lose your land-base by abandoning it. The govt. will cease to recognize them as a soverign tribal govt. Any way you look at it, people are already contaminated...then they stand to be disbanded. This gub ought to just clean it all up. Terrible dilemma, innit?

This is beyond sad! How much will the United States and it's descendants levy against American Indians? When will the genocide end? Infected blankets to paint sludge. Is there not one honorable person among them to keep fighting with/ for the Indians rights? Where is their humanity? I know one thing for sure.....what goes in the ground, stays in the ground! Lets see what they all do when it turns out the water source for EVERYONE in north jersey is now contaminated!
