Ok, why does every interview with Gary Oldman about the Dark Knight seem to brush over the fact that he arguably gave the best performance in the whole movie. I think the reason that Gary is so underrated is that he is just so seamless that you can't see the edges of his character, and you almost forget that he's actually acting. I don't want to sound like a pretentious prick (any more than I must), but I think that crafting Gordon would have been much harder than the Joker. <3 Gary!

You know why Gary Oldman is awesome too? He seems like someone who analyzes his characters WAY more than other actors. He dives into the character (much like Heath did) but he has done such a great VARIETY of roles. I personally like his villains (Zorg from Fifth Element and Stansfield from Leon) but he can play the 'good' guy equally as amazing. The scene where his family is held hostage (Dark Knight) makes you literally think that his family is held hostage because of him alone.
