Refugees constitute a very very small minority of the thousands of illegal immigrants we are allowing to live here in Malta. Thus again, inappropriate title, apart from the fact that as mentioned previously they are NOT Maltese.

Most immigrants simply seek (unskilled) economic opportunities in the EU to send cash back home or establish family here. That is NOT a good enough reason to grant them either temporary or permanent citizenship.
