I don't understand why the music choice is "Storm". Their performance reminds me of Vanessa Mae's "Storm" performance, which clearly shows that they are not the original. I do not appreciate media marketing and productions pursue pre-existing popular media product in forming a new group, which doesn't have anything original or fresh. Even though they play the strings wonderfully, they don't inspire me.
actually storm is an adaption of one of Vivaldi's seasons its not Vanessa's so since it is public domain every one can use it and make different arrangements it's not just media marketing they are making "classic" music interesting to people who doesn't of music
ok, this is so unoriginal. We all love classical music with techno bits but it is just too painful to see so much copycats or vanessa mae/bond wannabes. From wild, escala, princess and gracia to this. By the way, the track is Storm by vanessa mae from, like, seven years ago or something like that..
I like it, but it's so unoriginal what this band and many other are doing..
its fine. besides how would you know if vanessa mae actually wrote the music sheet for this piece. mozart and other great composers have their piece used by others many times. even now were not hearing the original mozart work are we? In the past they never had any kind of technology to record mozart's music and other companies are selling his music like they own it at our modern time. vanessa mae never wrote the devil's trill, but yet it is marketed as hers when she played it.
uh sorry to burst your bubble.. but this RENDITION is composed by vanessa mae...
not the actual song - summer.. AKA the piece that is famous known as the storm...
go look up vanessa's revolutionary interpretation of antonio's song. this song on the other hand is not a rendition... because it IS the actual same song as vanessa mae.
The short segment after 2:20 I cannot find in "Mae's rendition," so maybe I've been listening to the wrong version of hers? The background beats between this and the Mae's version are different, but the segment prior 2:20 is a bit similar, but other than that, most of the piece(the beginning) is close at hand with Vivaldi's. If you mean similar sound and influence, then yes.
However, even if they DID copy, it would still be a tribute to the artist.
Where can I get this song, I want it on my iPod. Oh and to the person who said the cellist is horrible, post something yourself that shows your "amazing" talent. People shouldn't trash others if they don't have anything to back it up.
Does anybody know how I can order this band album/CD?

tenjinnim, This piece does NOT belong to Vannessa Mae. It is the final movement of Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, Summer AKA Storm.

Just because Mae performed it does not mean that now it belongs to her. This piece is obviously a classical piece which is well-known.
They do this for entertainment. And even if they do not inspire you, they inspire others.
