  • He looks like my doverment

  • I have one it's crazy and funny like that one

  • how the hell did he not pop it xD

  • @NikitaKyrus Cus hes holding it from the tip only

  • @xcallmethebigggx

    Ah I see :P

Hes so cute, I love the way he bounces around with it xD <3

  • why no ear crop?

  • Love to watch a dog spazz out with their toys!

  • Give him a water balloon one day :-).

    P.S.: I love Dobies. Don't flame me...

  • Beautiful dog! I love how you didn't crop his ears (:

  • OMG HE is sooo smart!! he takes it on the right part ! to avoid the ballon to explode..

My dog does the same with all his toys.. he plays but he don't want us to take or touch his toy XD

  • lovely dog, so playful..your lucky to have him.

  • lol! He's hilarious! My dobie puppy usually pops hers within seconds! =)

  • This is SO adorable!

I also find it hillarious that you had to change the name of the video.

I call my dobie dumb all the time...even though I know he's smart.

I love him to pieces...but he is a dope, lol.

  • @ClarissaMaria1 Thanks. He is a very good dog and yes, I thought it was funny also that I had some people think I was really calling him dumb.

Best dog I have ever had no doubt about it.

  • How much does he weigh?

  • @e1g3r about 72 lbs.

  • lol

  • he´s got his 5 minutes.

  • What do you feed your dobie? I have a 2 year old red dobie and he sheds sooo much!! I'm wondering if its his food...

  • @marinewoman He eats Eagle Pack dry food.

  • @marinewoman Makes me wonder if your dog food has too much carbohydrates (corn, wheat etc). I've been told to provide food leaning towards proteins.

  • @ethicomm totally right they only add cerials to the food to fill the dog up so is useless! dont know if you get it over in the states but here in the UK the most available and best dog food is called James Wellbeloved. it is hypoallergenic and doesnt contain cereal as well as being all natural so no addatives P.S. to all who use wainwrights the company that owns that brand has recently been caught putting false ingridients info on their own packages so may not be the same as JWB.

  • AWW LOL what idot would think thats dum i love it!

  • That is adorable! Going to try that with my Dobie very soon!

  • My GF and I have a Red Doberman with long ears. She loves to take an old t-shirt or sock and shake it just like that. They are the BEST dogs.

  • lol you can not outrun a dog like that, too fast for anything on two legs lol

  • so cute! <3

  • this gave me a good giggle. He's beautiful

  • @sweetypie321ca Thanks. He is a very good dog.

  • so cute and funny!:)

  • OMG, this is hilarious!!! I'm so surprised he didn't pop it! My boy would have destroyed it in a second! Also, I love how he wags his stub. My dobe doesn't wag his very often, but when he does, it puts a huge smile on my face. :)

  • no pooch is dumb, of course i cant speak for some of their owners, by no means am i speaking of you, ive seen many of titiles for loving pets, and yes it is amazing how some ppl can get all bent about the titile or even the pet themselves, i as a pet owner myself know better....anyhow this cute pup, is cute, and yes ppl need to lighten up....this vid has done nothing but brought a smile to my face, as most do....

  • How cute! I love dobies ours does funny stuff like this too..

  • aww hes crazy lol!! very handsome dog

  • He is having so much fun.

  • what a sweet doggy!

  • I don't care what you believe. I don't recall insulting you, and if I did, I'm sorry. Nor do I believe to be self important, or whatever, I simply do not agree with you, which somehow seems to irk you.

No, subspecie =/= breed. LIke I stated, a dobermann and a dal are canis lupus familiaris, while iberian wolf is canis lupus signatus, unlike other wolf species which bear their own denomination.

I do not think I need to repeat myself to answer you.

  • @DragonNighthowler -----Well, too bad for you, breeds DO equal subspecies.

And a proper ear cropping DOES restore a floppy-eared dog 2 a more natural state.

  • And on, and on, and on...

I'm not repeating myself, when you're not answering any of my questions, nor demonstrating with arguments where I'm wrong. Notice I've kept arguing against your senseless theories, while you keep throwing the ball at the same thing, without responding to my well elaborated arguments.

You're nothing but a pitiful troll. And you're still wrong.

  • @DragonNighthowler how sweet....That's exactly how i feel about u! U have NOT proven u r right or that i am wrong. No theory here---sub species = dog breeds.

  • Cropping and taping can only b successful if the dog is young enough. Otherwise the cartilage is too thin and won't stand.

  • Nope, otherwise dogs, as a specie, would be considered a wolf breed, as they are directly linked to the grey wolf (canis LUPUS familiaris).

    Breed =/= subspecie.

  • Iberian wolf- Canis Lupus signatus.

    Dalmatian- Canis lupus familiaris.

    Dobermann- Canis lupus familiaris.

    Cocker- Canis lupus familiaris.

    Greyhound- Canis lupus familiaris.

Funny. I thought a subspecie would have a different denominations, unlike breeds.

  • Wow, SO mature, ad hominen commentary.

Who're you trying to convince with that childish attitude?

  • Comment removed

  • lol my dog does the same thing with his toys, thrashing them around, such violence lol. I feel sorry for the toys, i've found so much stuffing blowin around in our backyard. I try to stick to the stuffing free toys but doesnt always happen & bentley will eat almst ANYTHING, it makes me mad lol

  • hahahaha so cute. funny how she is shaking her "baby" in her mouth and trying to kill it. beautiful dog btw

  • Very cute and funny

  • looks like his disapears when he shakes it, i want a doberman

  • What a beautful doberman. I can't remember the last time I saw a doberman with tail and ears intact. My son owns a pit bull and he also chose not to cut ears and tail off. I know it's "standard" but to me (my personal opinion so dont be mean guys) it seems so painful and cruel. Anyways, your dog is beautiful and adorable. Thanks for sharing :D

  • You sure it's normal for a Doberman to have no ears? I know that people tape Dobermans ears so they stick up right but i've never seen an earless one...

  • What do you mean no ears? He has ears.

  • Someone mentioned that some dobermans don't have ears and I was a bit appalled by that.

  • They don't tape the ears, they cut off a bit of the earlobe. The taping is done to avoid infections, and to make them stand up, but taping without cropping won't work.

  • @picklehead41 people dont tape them. they crop...aka cut them. they have tails too, poor dog here got his cut.

  • what does he do when the balloon goes 'pop'?

  • Looks at it and finds another one or another toy. He wants nothing to do with them if they pop. Doesn't happen very often though.

  • Yes, they are good even with cats, once they know who the family members are they will respect them and protect them, of course, it also depends on how you train your dog

  • I have a question for Doberman Pincher owners. Are they good with small dogs?

  • Yes.

  • see! this breed isnt mean all (:

    love them!

  • oh c'mon people settle down.... i have 1 male dobie myself and trust me...fashion does not matter.....ear cropping does not matter a dobie is still a dobie with ears or not....if someone were to breake into your house trust me a robber isnt gonna run because of their ears...there gonna run once that dobie shows there teeth and trust me every dobie has that talent when the time comes ;)

  • I LOVE this video...makes me laugh every time I've seen it. We have a doberman with natural ears and tail. He is the sweetest, most loving dog.

    YAY for dobies!!

  • Do you give toddlers drycleaning bags to play with, too? One big inhale and the dog's a choke victim.

  • Great dog Sir!

  • my dobe looks exactly like that, checkout my dog bones by hot lilk mama24,his ears aint cropped either.thge best dog ive ever owned, real family dog and well behaved.nice vid

  • We had a doberman named Bennie and he wouldnt hurt a fly, lol.

  • dobe look so ugly with their natural ears mine has them cropped

  • They look handsome with their ears and tails intact.

It's plain senseless to cut them off just to make them look plucky, or tough.

Or would you cut your baby boy's nose to make it shorter? Just for looks?

  • if my baby boy looks cool with its nose shorter than sure i would cut it!!

  • What if your baby preffers being with his nose longer, because it allows him to comunicate with his specie much better?

To cut off a dogs tail is like cutting off your hands and vocal cords.

  • your right now shut up

  • You just had to say the only sentence that could make me keep talking. I don't tolerate anyone telling me to shut up.

And anyways, you're just irritated because you don't have arguments against.

  • no i just realized that getting their ears cropped are pointless and very painfull for the dog i regret getting my dogs ears cropped. thanks for making me realized that. :)

  • Ah, ok then. Sorry for my mistake. You're welcome. ;)

  • Get your high-horse retard. Actually dobermans (I have one, I should know) have a VERY long, narrow tail from birth, and due to the length can give them bad back problems later in life. Also, because the tail is so thin, and has not hair to cushion it, when it's wagging it's tail sideways with excitement it tends to hit walls, tables, etc and BREAK, A LOT. I read about it on the doberman discussion forums all the time. So try and be more educated before clinging to your tree next time, buddy.

  • Dalmatians had the exact same type of tail. I had a dalmatian, and she did break a lot of things, and NEVER did I think of chopping off her tail.

If you're worried because of what it'll break, then buy a stuffed toy, not a dog.

Also, my dal never had back problems due to the tail. Right now I have a greyhound (you might know it was used to breed the dobermann), I've never, ever heard of a grey having back problems because of the tail.

It's unnecesary mutilation, only for looks.

  • Not to mention, there is no reference of dobermann suffering from back problems due to not having their tails chopped. I don't see Brabus (work champion) having any problem because of that, aside from having a much better balance.

Tails are to dogs like vocal chords to humans.

If tails were not needed, there would be tailess dogs, but there is not a single breed without a tail. All dogs have tails.

You should apply the education to yourself, as you're the one who came here insulting.

  • Another reason why they cut the tail off is because if they are used as working dogs their tail gets in the way and so it is easier and kinder to them too have it cut off because their tails are soo long. This doesn't say i agree with it but i understand if it has to be done then it has to be done...Cropping ears however i don't agree with, because there isn't any need for it to be done, its not natural....and yes cutting their tail off isn't natural but their tail can get injured a lot easier.

  • I agree with most of what you're saying, except the tail thing.

Dobermann have greyhound tails, inherited from their greyhound ancestors. I have a greyhound (and waiting to owning a dobermann too), and we work agility with him. You'd be surprised at the balance these dog has, and never has he injured his tail.

There is also a working doberman, doing shutzhund, Bravus von Burghon (something like that), he's got tail and ears intact.

  • tails break very easily so if they're going to be used as working dogs its best if their tails are docked. My dobe is just a pet, so she's keeping her tail and her ears AREN'T being cropped. Plus its illegal her, but i think that its wrong anyway. In the UK its seen as cruel, so if the tails are going to be docked then its to be done when they're less than 5 days old, which isnt easy due to buying them off the breeders, you also have to prove that the dog is going to be used as a working dog.

  • Their tails are cropped due to the fact that they are used as guard dogs. Since their tail is sensitive it is easy for an intruder to break the tail. Greyhounds and dalmations arent really used as guard dogs so their tails dont have to be cropped.

  • I know that, but sincerely, if I'm using a dog as guard dog, I wouldn't really be worried about their tail. A guard dog can be easily neutralized, with fatal consequences. I don't presume a burglar with a gun/knife will focus on the tail.

However, other dogs, such as the German Shepperd, have also served as guard dogs, and there is no cult for tail cropping. So are sheep breeds, which were used to guard and protect the herd against wolves, same logic can be applied.

  • I'm a professional dog trainer, and a foster home for a Dobe rescue group. I often hear how 'UNNATURAL' ear cropping is, well i always respond with this---UN-natural is: inbreeding an animal (wolf, jackal, etc.) until their ears flop over, making them more injury prone, more ear-infections, hinders their hearing ability and body-language cues. There r NO floppy-eared wild canines! Cropping done right (not removing 2 much bell-base-of ear) actually restores dog 2 a more natural state.

  • Actually, a Russian experiment with foxes have proved that, upon the 9th generation of tame bred foxes (not inbred), their ears fall, and their tails curve, and they begin to bark. Not only that, but funny color patterns appear on their coat, as for example a black and white patched very similar to a border collie.

It is due to low levels of adrenaline in their blood, due to them not needing to be alert constantly, as it happens in the wild.

  • Honestly, I don't mind if you crop your dobbies ears. I agree, they look better with their ears straight.

I have a greyhound with a defect on his ears, and he puts them straight. It would be a very simple surgery to correct it, but I like how he moves his ears up and down.

But just admit it, there is no reason other than fashion.

I don't care, as long as the dog doesn't suffer, and is well cared for, people can dress them up, or crop their ears.

THat doesn't mean I agree with it tho.

  • I don't NEED 2 admit it's only fashion, because it's not true. Some people may go 4 the simple aesthetics of it all, butit is highly functional, which is Y u will NEVER see wild canine species (not feral dogs) with flopped ears. floppy ears come from many generations of inbreeding, and THAT was 4 the purpose of fashion. As 4 the tails, the reason y herding breeds like shepards have intact tails is--FUR--the thick long fur protects tail in combat. Dobes short hair, and weak, kinky tails.

  • Really, go search the documental about tame foxes. It's somewhere in Youtube, and it's fascinating.

Floppy ears came LONG before people began to inbreed dogs for fashion, as dogs have been around people for 10,000 years.

Still, a friend's border collie broke his tail, while my greyhound, with the same tail as the dobe, didn't break it.

And going by your logic, as in nature we don't have wild dogs without tails, we should crop ears, but keep tails intacts.

  • Anyways, cutting off a limb because it could break, sounds to me like a lame excuse. Specially today.

I don't deny it worked when dog fights were legal, and when Mr Dobermann collected taxes, and a broken tail could become a burden, and infectious.

    But today? It's purely fashion.

Anyways, our teeth, nose and small fingers are fragile, and vulnerable. I don't see parents asking to have these cut off their kids just because they could break (specially noses).

  • DOG Fighting is NOT the issue! Dobermans r not typically used 4 dogfighting- pits often have their ears CHOPPED so short that rain can enter the ears-NOT practical at all! When i say combat, i mean military dogs, field work, etc. Long floppy ears can get snagged by thorns, metal, etc. and have ALOT of bleeding potential. Ear infections, yeast, etc. r common in floppy-eared dogs, hearing is muffled by the cartilage, and visual cues r hard 2 read by dogs as well as humans.

  • Ok, now we go to military dogs. You should have started there to begin with.

Anyways, hearing is almost as perfect in floppy eared dogs, as it is in erect eared dogs. I have owned both, and never seen any problem in audition in any of the dogs.

Anyways, visual cues are easy to read if you know how to work them. I have my pomeranian trained with visual cues, and she reacts to them as easily as if I had been telling them by voice.

  • Oh no, I'm not against cropping. I'm against idiots who are for ear cropping, and make up stupid excuses, because they are too weak to admit they are doing it for fashion.

I couldn't care less if you cut off your dog's tail, as long as the animal is well fed.

But don't try to make your weak heart feel better with such stupid, lame excuses.

PD; There is no need to shout, dear. You can keep your tone calm.

You're wrong about floppy ears. I presume you never had one.

  • I think it's ridiculous, even in war dogs. There are enough dog offer, like german shepperds, for example, as not to have to use dogs and cut off their ears. Not only that, but germans also can injure their ears just as easily as a floppy eared dog (except bassets, and other ludicrously long eared dogs).

Yet again, if my dog was to get injured so easily, I wouldn't really be worried about ears or tails.

  • And 4 u 2 compare children to dogs---thaz funny! Dogs have been CREATED YES CREATED, by inbreeding wolves, jackals, and modified 4 specific purposes--hunting, guarding, herding, therefore much variety, because, ultimately, a dog is a TOOL! Companion, yes, member of family, yes, but a TOOL nonetheless. A doberman's cut is 4 a specific purpose, more efficient and functional. I think it's more cruel 2 breed a dog til it can't breathe right, (pugs, bulldogs) or has stubby legs! (bassett)

  • Yes, it is cruel to inbreed a dog. More than cutting their ears, obviously.

But just because one thing is cruel, it won't make me agree with it.

Congratulations, you know your first lesson. Dogs in the past have been used as tools.

Today we know enough ethology to understand dog behavior, and see them as more than mere cars, or other machinery. Thankfully we know they have feelings. A dobermann that's going to live as a pet needn't have his ears chopped off.

  • I don't see what's so funny about comparing children to dogs, when science has proven dogs have the intellect of a 1/5 year old kid, and when parents have a tendency to dress their little girls like sluts nowadays, and nobody complains.

But anyways, I really don't mind if people find a dog cuter with cropped ears. But I find it totally ridiculous that you people need to make lame excuses to feel better with yourselves.

PD; relax, we are grown ups, aren't we?

  • Yes, i DO find it funny when people compare their dogs to children. Childless people often fuss over and pamper their dogs, treat them like their 'babies,' but when they ACTUALLY HAVE a baby of their own, they usually stop that behavior and start treating their dogs like DOGS, which is what a dog wants anyway. Dog behavior and intelligence is something i know and work with daily. Cropping dobies is NOT cruel, IS more efficient and functional, and uncropped r prone to ear infections.

  • Then why don't we crop dalmatian, basset hounds, greyhounds, golden retrievers, rottweiler, and a long list of etc?

    You keep making excuses.

PD; I wasn't talking about dressing up dogs. I was talking merely about the intellectual capacities of dogs, in comparison to children the age of 1.5 years, which you (being an ethology expert, apparently) must already know.

PD; I have a plan to keep my dog's ears healthy. I clean them often ;).

  • I'm elated 2 know your dog's ears will always b squeaky clean & dry. I don't need excuses 4 cropping ears. It's efficient. As 4 z child thing, i wasn't talkin about intelligence, but was more referring 2 your argument about cutting off fingers and pulling teeth since they r prone 2 injuries, like ears--it was earlier in this vlog, i think.

  • You still haven't responded. Why don't we cut all dog's ears, if it's that efficient?

Why hasn't my vet told me to cut off my dalmatian's ears?

    Or my greyhound's ears?

Why is it no vet I know (which are a few, including a dobermann breeder) will tell me to cut off their ears, for efficiency?

    Yes, you're making up excuses.

It's fashion, nothing but that. Dobbies look good with ears cut, I admit it, and I really don't care if people cut their ears off.

  • Y don't we cut off all dogs' ears? SURE! YES! Let's make a gigantic pile of ears! Just chop and toss, towering 2 z sky! Dobies LOOK better and FUNCTIO N better with cropped ears, but only if the crop is done well. From all the time u put in here on this subject, U sure seem like u DO care if people crop, contrary 2 what u say.

  • Dobbies look better. They function just fine.

If they were to function better, then vets would tell all flopyy eared dog owners to crop their ears. But they don't. Apparently Dobermann are a different specie to dalmatians? XD

No, I don't really give a damn. I care about people making stupid excuses to feel better with their hurt egos. It's fashion, end of story.

What I am really against is tail chopping, which is just as stupid, and simply done for fashion.

  • u bring up other dog breeds, like dalmations, (different species-no-subspecies-yes) or bassetts (cute but dumb and stinky) that r NOT hardcore working dogs like the doberman breed. Dobermans were/are a working breed, in the field, in combat, in extreme conditions, and YES, the ear cropping IS functional. AND the taildock is ALSO functional, this breed is much more commoly used and active in injurious situations-thus dock&crop. It made them a better tool, less injuries. No excuse needed.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Your knowledge about dogs is close to minus 100. Dalmatian different subspecie???

A subspecie is a canis lupus signatus.

Dalmatian is a Canis lupus FAMILIARIS, curiously the same as the dobermann.

    Tails are used for comunication.

I believe that if I find cutting off your vocal chords functional, I can, independently of their use?

German shepherds are also commonly used in dangerous situations, and I don't see anyone cutting their tails.

  • PD; Stop watching Cesar Millan. He's no dog expert at all.

  • And u keep saying u don't care---but u keep going--well, i can keep this up all year.

  • I keep responding, because you keep responding.

At first I thought you actually might know a bit about dogs.

Your last statement has simply boosted my ego XD, your lack of knowledge and objectiveness is simply amazing. That, added to your written expression tells me, pretty accurately, you're nothing but a teenager.

Funny enough, the more you write, the more you demonstrate your proffound lack of fuctional knowledge. A real dog expert would never call a dog dumb and stinky.

  • Why, Mr Dog Expert, don't we tail dock or ear crop dogs put in the same perilous situations, like golden retrievers (rescue), and german shepperds (rescue, police, military, etc)?

Are they a subspecie too that are not more functional? Does that only happen to dobbies? XDXDXD

Why do we tail dock cockers and yorkshire terriers? So they don't get hurt in the living room?

It's fashion, end of story. There is just no point, specially when other breeds are equally functional, and not mutilated.

  • docking doberman, pitbulls amongst other breeds are also a safety standard for the dog. Ever heard of a dog breaking it's tail from wagging too hard? It's happened. It's not fashion, by the way. It's breed standard by AKC. Become a dog breeder or dog handler and you might learn a bit more.

  • Nope, and I've got a greyhound, and a dalmatian. Sure, it's happened, and broken paws, and broken fingers for humans, and broken noses. Accidents happen.

I am no dog breeder, but one of my friends is boxer dog breeder, with various well known champions in her line. She does not dock tails, or crop ears.

  • my ears stick out and i want to get my ears pinned back and if i had a doberman id have its ears fixed 2 ... and thats the argument for my side

  • Again with the cutting tails is fashion. It's breed standards. Been that way for a long time. Originally to make the doberman look more fierce and now it is a AKC breed STANDARD. Not a fashion.

You both need to just stop.

  • Not any more in Europe. It stopped being a breed standard. Anyways, a pet dobbie, rottweiler, cocker, whatever, does not need to have its tail docked.

  • Yes, and dobermans have very thin, weak, kinky tails. nit very useful, and yes, their own tail can b used against them in combat situations.

  • To avoid ear infections, a good cleaning, and constant care from the owners should do. But I don't see people cropping golden retrievers ears, basset and bloodhounds, dalmatians, munsterlander, and so on...

I'm also not so sure about them hearing better, nor having better communication, as some of those croppings keep the ear so straight the dog can't move them, hence releasing a false dominat/agression message.

As for tail... I'm against dog fights.

  • Many dogs have thin, weak tails.

But anyways, ok, we restore the dog to a natural state. There is no dog (wild or not) that hasn't got a tail. They use it to communicate.

But anyways, back to tails... combat situations. If my dog is attacked by another dog, or human, the tail is the least of my concerns. I'd be more worried about the throat, stomach and back.

  • I like their ears cropped

  • Fine, it's still selfish and cruel

  • It's not selfish or cruel.

    It's like when a human get's circumcised.

It's good for their health, Doberman Pinschers have sensitive ears that can get infected easily if not cropped.

  • No is not.

It's like cutting off your vocal chords, hands, and eyebrows.

Bassets, dalmatians, pointers, bloodhounds, and a LONG list of dogs also have sensitive ears, and you don't see them with their ears cropped.

The point is being an owner, and cleaning their ears every so often to keep them from getting infected.

It's JUST for fancy, there is no use to it other than the selfish desire to make them look tough.

  • No. You're stupid, VERY stupid.

    Vochal cords.. how so.

    Hands, how so?

    Eyebrows remain.

It's like a nosejob, which is perfectly fine.

    It's a TRADITION.

  • Fine, you start with insults because you've got no arguments.

Easy, dogs use their TAILS and EARS to comunicate, just how we use our HANDS, VOCAL CHORDS, and EYEBROWS.

Tradition is clitorix ablation. Tradition is bullfights. Tradition is throwing living goats off the roof of a church. Tradition is selling women (14 year old girls) to their future husbands.

    Tradition doesn't mean it's RIGHT.

  • its a stupid 'tradition'

there is no use to it what so ever

  • they're more likely to get infected if they do have them cropped cause of they way it is done and by the way cropping a Dobermans ears is NOT good for their health in fact it does nothing for them it just makes these sweet, beautiful animals look vicious and even though people say it improves hearing it doesn't cause if a dog listens to something it lifts its ears up anyway so before you start saying its not cruel read up on why people do it and dont assume its because its good for their health.

  • Prove my weaknesses.

And it's not even close to comparison, as historically, circumncision has a point, as to avoid infections, which is not the case in something that's purely done for fashion, and weakens dog's chances at communication.

  • You couldn't be more wrong, but you're wayyyyy too thick-headed and close- minded to hear ANYONE elses opinion. It's like arguing with a brick wall with you, so i'll let you continue in your ignorant, close minded, tree-hugging ways. Circumcising a human is almost exactly like cropping a dogs ears.

  • Yep. because we all know men communicate with their dicks.

I am ignorant, thick minded... wait, what else?

Which just proves you've got no arguments against me. If you had, you would have taken out your facts to show me I am wrong. But you've got nothing.

And I an surely not close minded, I am very open minded. I said it, seriously, PROVE IT, and I'll admit I was wrong.

BTW, tree hugging what? AHAHAHAHA! Please, don't insult me just because you've got no arguments.

  • HELLO!? i agree with circumncision cause it prevents infections but dobermans are highly at risks of breaking the tails naturally as their quite fast and very energetic & its not really your business what these people do with their dogs as long as the surgery is correctly done.

  • I have a greyhound, which has exactly that same tail (specially as it was used to breed the dobermann).

And you don't see greyhound breeders chopping grey's tails off because of risk of breaking.

Not only that, but I've never had any problem with my greyhound's tail at all, independently of its length.

And no, it's none of my business. It's none of my business either what China is doing, and I still manifest my disagreement.

  • That was very unintelligent to bring in the china situation which is a totally different problem, its obvious this doberman is well looked after and thats all that matters really. People like you are just always out to make a problem out of innocent people..

  • Erm i said it was STALKER-LIKE, i also blocked you cause i would rather you not post your geeky messages on my profile either (i also highly dont see that as unintelligent to block someone, it doesnt lower your intelligence by blocking someone)and finally why should i act like im 20 when im actually 15? A bit dumb really..

Anyway i would like you to reply to the comment i just said .. Not a totally different comment.

Anyway i would like you to reply to that comment i just said

  • You didn't reply to my first comment. I'm still waiting to know if I should just chop off my greyhound's tail because it could break.

  • Funny.. I guess i need to repeat myself again like i would need to with a 5 year old; a greyhound is a competely different breed to a dobermann. Dobermanns are oftenly used as guard dogs so they need the agility to run and guard houses bla bla. But anyway you can cut your greyhounds tail off if you think its neccessary but truthfully it has nothing to do with me, like it has nothing to do with you if someone wants to dock their dogs tail. Im sure this greyhound your talking about is imaginary...

  • Greyhounds are used to run after hares, in different sport disciplines. They need as much, or even more agility than dobermann, and they have a MUCH bigger chance of breaking any bone (tails included).

Anyways, you don't see any greyhound breeder chopping off a grey's tails.

What you're talking about is a falacy, they cut off tails because of fancy.

What you mean is when dogs were used to DOG FIGHTS, then tails and ears were at risk of getting nasty wounds.

  • And yes, I'm tired of your insults, and your lack of manners.

That's not the behavior of a 15 year old. I've been 15 years old too, and much younger, at 13, I was keeping conversations with ambassadors, and ministers.

Manners is not a thing of age, but rather will, and knowledge. It's common sense.

I don't believe I have been rude to you. And much less, I have (until now), insulted repeatedly your intelligence.

  • But anyways, that just shows how much you know about dogs.

And another thing. Next time you try to learn some manners.

I don't give a shit whether you believe I've got a grey or not (I could show you pictures had you not blocked me, they are on my deviantart account that goes by the same name I use on my nick, go check it out if you want).

And in a couple of months I'm getting a schutzhund dobermann pup, from a german breeder that doesn't mutilate dogs.

  • You can respond if you wish, I'm just going to ignore all your comments from now on. You're nothing but a little deluded, wannabe. You know nothing about dogs, or anything for that matter.

Really, honey, go out, get some friends, and get a little humble, and some manners.

    You need them.

Oh, and no coming into my profile, please. It's reserved for discussions and debates about history, economics, and politics.

  • aww! lolz! i have one! idk if hes scared of em!

  • this is how fast they are . that's true !

  • I'm suprized the baloon never popped LOL or the dog never pinctured any holes LOL

  • that's such a sweet dog

  • I do this same activity every morning, just kidding, your dog is very cute and funny!

  • lol ur dobie is so funny..my dog plays the exact same however once a balloon popped in her face and she ran to her cage!

  • yes i am also curious as to the balloons structure after play. LOL

  • Most of the time they are the same as when he plays with them. Once in a while they break & once in a while they deflate but balloons are his favorite toy.

    Yes he is strange!

  • haha no i dont think he is strange. my dogs favorite play thing are oranges that fall off our tree. lol and she doesnt eat them. now thats weird. lol

  • I've had 3 dobermans and they were all strange!

  • loooool, that ballon did brake eventually did it?

  • my dobe hates balloons lol

  • LOL! It's so cute! If you train the dog to do the motions in rythym, it could be the first beat-balloon-boxing dog EVER!!! =D Which would be AWESOME!

  • and by the way, sasha looks JUST LIKE INDY!!! except sashas ears are a little more up, if you know what i mean. not cropped though

  • OMG that must be a dobie game. Liam plays that keep away game too

  • oh.. so sweet <3

  • i hav a dobeman but i didnt cut d tail

  • so what. no one cares.

  • A Beautiful Dobe, Great video, Dobe's can be so gentle with there mouths,(not a strong balloon) My dobe looked after a family of white mice, even carring around the young ones in his mouth and never hurt one, In OZZ our dobe's don't have croped ears, They have even baned tail docking, But we still lov em !

  • P.s the below comment was aimed at the post by allmightyjamestown!

  • that must of been a strong balloon

  • mine was sweet as could be to my family and friends!! but damn someone would walk by and my dog would lose it!!!!! she would flip!! dobermans are guard dogs, make them look like one. they dont look all that great without there ears pinned. my opinion.

  • Love a Dobie...just like my Noah with his toys...thanks for NOT cropping the ears! Love 'em

  • hahah how old i got a 3yr old does the samme thing with his bed

  • its nice to see a doberman without pinned ears...

    i have one too

  • Dobermans are awesome dogs very timid and shy. Once you have a Doberman you understand they are special.

  • oh man, thats funny.my dog shakes his head like that.Funny wen he does. He's a Black Lab,with some shepherd i em'.HE HATES THE WATER O.o course he's just mostly shepherd.

  • those floppy ears are so cute!,, My dobe has his cropped, but floppy is cute too. dobes are the best!

  • Nice red dobe! You don't see them often!

  • um u have to have there ears cropp in order 4 them to stand up but its sad to get them done

  • why are it's ears down?

i thought domermans had their ears straight up

  • this Dobe has it's natural ears- lots of people crop their ears when they are younger, as a "breed standard" which I personally don't agree with.. but this is what they look like not cropped.

I love this video -it's great.
