Cool project and cool video...but the narration is wrong about the source of the Earthquake. The Northridge EQ occurred on a previously unknown blind thrust fault, and NOT the San Andreas fault as mentioned (and shown in Google Earth). Also it's misleading to say that it can reproduce a magnitude 8 earthquake without additional details....a mag 8 could be violent, or weak/unfelt depending on the proximity to the rupture surface and soil conditions at the site.
