@LukeNAESA10 thats because the shoulder restraints come down far enough to where they dont need side skirts to keep people in. Also even if they do need them, its NOT an American ride its a European ride (Holland I believe) so next time check the facts before blaming an entire country for some stupid crap like that.

@TokenWolf1 It's built in England by Tivoli who use licensed seats by KMG from Holland. And this is a newer model, it SHOULD have the side welds fitted since the restraints don't auto-close on the newer models, and you have to put your arm through first. And I doubt you know ANYTHING about this ride to contemplate it, it NEEDS those side welds because 3 accidents have happened on these rides here in England when they didn't have the parts attached.

@LukeNAESA10 well so far nothing like that has happened here in America. Also i went on this ride before and it had things on the side to keep you in. the ride before it, Orbiter, was one that was dangerous. The restraints actually flew open a number of times. Even on me but i hung onto it cuz i was riding with my gf and didnt want her to fly out but i digress lol. Overall, i think its safe and there hasnt been any accidents ever since they replaced Orbiter with Remix II :)

@TokenWolf1 You don't really need a safety bar that much on a standard Orbiter because the centrifugal forces would keep you in but if it did fly open, did you tell the ride operator, because that's a fault and it would have to go straight back to Amtech (Tivoli's US representative) for repair.

People, the reason why it makes your legs and feet tingle is because its so fast and the force and pressure is so hard that a majority of the blood goes into your legs. About halfway through this ride, I got pale, my hair (which was tied very tightly) came out just from the sheer speed, my flip-flops flew down the street, and every single vein in my foot was bulging and my lower legs were purple and I could feel my stomach pressed against my spine.

Hmm, now THAT can't be good for oxygen flow.

ooo ive wanted to ride one of these! its a version of the Orbiter called Orbiter Extreme (The ride type) and is basically like the orbiter, without the floor on the carrages! looks fun
