for years when I played this fucking game I thought after you played the enemy base with the green back ground and shit was the fial stage and the game just started over. and now I see that i never actually beat it!!! fuck now im on a mission!!! I will once and for all beat this fucking game. oh the countless times I cussed this game, if it wasnt for the sturdy built controller of the nintendo I would have broke way more than what i did

I love these videos. Not only for the fond memories they bring back but the commentary is hilarious. I remember what some of these games were like. Commando was BITCH to play. I fucking hated that game. I could never beat it, EVER! All in all, GO FRANKOMATIC!

I love the videos that Frankomatic makes because it brings back such fond memories for me. Nomoremustache82, you are 100% correct. The levels increase with difficulty, the f-bombs increase.

I remember playing these games, swearing like a sailor and my mother yelling at me for swearing at the frustration of these games.

It took me 4 eva to finish this game. Some of the others, not so long but this one was a bitch. Especially the assholes with the rocket launchers, I hated those guys

yeah no kidding. One of the best for the NES. I'm also 99% sure he's playing the rom that was ripped from the famicom version, which displayed broken English at the end.

I may have to pull my box out to see if the actual US released game has that horrid English at the end. I can't remember it being that bad, of course I was around 5 the last time I beat it =P

The levels are all the same. The only difference is the difficulty goes up as you begin each new mission.

One of the hardest capcom games I ever played was Gun.Smoke. (Arcade version)

It's ten stages long, and some of the later stages are actually harder than the bosses themselves (*cough* stage 6 *cough*)

@Frankomatic I think archaeln is referring to the secret ending. See, if you finish the game with 3 lives and 24 grenades, you get a secret ending which is the regular ending, plus a message from the programmer, and a credit sequence. I'd like to see that ending too.
