Hmm, far from Anders, but I'm always glad to hear different versions of this song !

man i love this demo so much more than the actually song on the jester race. the vocals are just done so much better, then again i've never been to impressed by anders in the first place. hell the whispering in the better is even better it sounds more like what "existance etc" would sound like in my mind. that and someone else said something about higher key signatures i think make this song so much better same with the inborn lifeless vs dead god in me.

I collected all outputs of the band MARDUK, because Jocky was in the beginning their drummer. While the 2. and 3. album, he was on the vocals. Especial I love the album "Those of the Unlight" = Great stuff!!

DIMENSION ZERO was great, Joacims vocals sounds like 'Black Metal', but today he sounds like 'Death Metal', what a mess....

I don't know why death metal fans hate on this band. i think they're just as good as carcass and necrophagist etc... Sure they're new shit sucks ass. But honestly if you don't like the new stuff. THEN DONT LISTEN TO IT!!!! Listen to the old stuff, cause i don't see why ANY of their old songs suck... Its not like no other bands like Iron Maiden and Megadeth loose their touch. @TheMilfman7 It's unfortunate. They're like the Metallica of MDM: their new stuff sucks(though in Metallica's case, Death Magnetic was actually somewhat decent), and people hate the band as a whole because of the new stuff.

@TheMilfman7 thats the problem, most death metal fans stick to 1 particular genre of metal...death metal of course. they should listen to wide variety of subgenres. In Flames is as good as Cannibal Corpse and is as good as Iron Maiden(their old style sort of)

in my opinion i think in flames should have kept either jocke gothberg or henrik forss for vocals. anders vocals are very good but i prefer the scream/croaky vocals

It's crazy... I personally think this version (even with the higher key signatures and screechy/croaky vocals) is actually a lot heavier than the one on the Jester Race.
