The extreme conservative/Traditionalist Catholics represent a minority of the Catholic population. They Do not understand that the church must transform itself according to the times. The youth of the world must be welcomed into the church not shunned by the old traditions. Please I ask you to read his book Crossing The Threshold of Hope, especially the chapter about "Is there really hope in the young"..truly exceptional.

I might be a bit more cautious in saying "the Church must transform itself", as Truth is inviolate and eternal. Perhaps it's more accurate to say that this Truth is conveyed in ways that may grow or innovate, but the bottom-line MUST remain the same. It is precisely THIS point which diverge the position of the extremists we've mentioned from our own; I maintain our cherished traditions are the MEANS to an end (salvation through the Ressurection), rather than an end in THEMSELVES.

Why do catholics need guidance from the pope. I'm an atheist and I don't need the pope to come up with some new commandments in order to recycle, and to realise that using a cell phone while driving is bad.

Some of the bible is meant to be taken literally, but other parts are myths that contain truths but did not actually happen.
Is God capable of creating the laws by which evolution occurs? Doesn't that make us seem even more significant... because we're the product of such a complex system?
Genesis still tells us that there is one God who made the universe for man and speaks about Mary and Jesus.

That's the best example I can give as to why some of the Bible is to be taken as myths. That's why two separate accounts of the same event were given; the purpose behind the stories is the same.
Yes, I believe in evolution, but not by natural selection (Darwin's mechanism for it). I'm a proponent of intelligent design-God created us by through the systems he made. This really shows us how loving God is, that He would wait all this time for us!

God doesn't change, but we do. Why didn't God present the Jews with the idea of trinity? He was separating the Jews from everyone else by their belief in one God, and the concept of trinity would be misunderstood.
Likewise, a detailed description of what God did to create the universe would only obscure everything in the Scriptures that is necessary for our salvation. It would confuse all mankind for thousands of years and drive people away from Judaism and Christianity.

That's why any thinking person who believes in an intellectual, loving God should think there is such a thing as apostolic succession,because, even if it was never written in the bible,it just simply makes sense. God is a systematic God, in the way He put system and order in the universe. Why wouldn't He do that for His Church?

God nor his word dose not make mistakes that is why I follow his word sola scriptura rather than his so called successors.
The Vatican will not warn the world about the fourtcoming apocalypse, ie one world dictatorship, Real ID (HR 418),the global biometric database, and the coming RFID implant, new world order, etc, thats because the Catholic Church supports world leaders who are setting up this global fascist system.

God or His Word does not make mistakes, but humans who interpret His Word do. We can truly trust the Bible, but we shouldn't trust the Holy Bible with erring Human beings. Why do you think there are, to date, more than 35,000 different Christian sects, claiming belief in one bible?

I would rather be divided in truth than be united in error. As a Catholic one must accept everything that is dictated to you by the Vatican council. ie the authority of the catechism as above that of the word of God. If the Catholic Church tells you to worship statues. Pray to the dead, call clergy by the blasphemous titles "Father" ou go ahead and follow them even though the Bible forbids it.
There is no such thing as a Roman Catholic Christian. It's a Contradiction in terms.

Every time a catholic person calls the pope "Holy Father" they are calling him God!
The name "Holy Father" is found only ONE time in the entire Bible and it refers to God the Father! They are calling the pope by God's name! It is extreme blasphemy to call a man by God's name. The following passage shows Jesus praying before He and His disciples went to the garden of Gethsemane:

What if the Jesus you've been worshiping (who's based on your human interpretation of The Word) were only Man-made and not really Him? Now that would be IDOLATRY. Even if you say you truly believe in Jesus and the Bible, but if your interpretation of the Bible is flawed and the Jesus you've based on your Bible is not really Him--that would still be VERY, VERY TRAGIC. I did read it and found nothing about the catholic church or anything abou having popes or preists. Our one priest is Jesus Christ. He is the one Pope. May the Glory be to God the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost. Not to any man born of this world.

It is quiet obvious that you do not know the Christian religion very well. The Roman Catholic Church IS the first and only true christian church. It was established in the begining by Jesus appointing St. Peter to be the leader of the Church on earth and has been passed down from St. Peter to the present day through the papicy.

And those pastors and prots aren't living by the way Jesus gave. He said lay up your richs in heaven. Jesus said if there is a fellow brother in need then go sell everything you have and give him the money. Everything should be done to the Glory of God. Those pastors and protestants arent being to humble. But why is the pope so many times that i see him adorned in all these nice things.

Why would he need items to remind him of what Jesus did for him. The bible doesn't talk about there being priests in the new church.
And the Clothes. He shouldn't be wearing such fine and fancy things that doesn't remind a person of who they are or what their purpose is. Its the Holy Spirit. Those clothes don't glorify God but him. They make him more glorious. I am sorry but the Catholic Religion seems more of a "ceremonies religion".

Did you know that the only things the Pope had in his possession were a comb, a picture, and a bible?
He is adorned in all these 'nice things' to give glory to God, the same way that our Cathedrals do.
The first time I stepped into a basilica I was in complete awe of God. John 12:1-8 clearly says that some money is to be spent on God, as well as the poor.

The thing is I have never heard of the second creation story. The Bible is correct in every way. There is no way of correcting it. Not through science not through anything. Only God can come down and change his word. There has never been any real evidence of evolution. Never will be. It is a man made religion. Not science. The problem with evolution is it teachs us that we are animals. We are not. We were made in the image of God. But both religions say that we were made from dirt.

If God truly loved and cared for His people, why would He allow confusion when it comes to His teachings? If He knew beforehand that there would be differing interpretations in the future, surely He would have thought up of system to take care of this?

Also my friends, please do not forget it is not in the Bible to test others like this too? Is it not? So please why all this fighting. We should be happy that we are a majority Christian World, rather than fighting over denominations.
