  • i can't see clear...:/

  • Just great

  • i love the way you do your videos. you draw, i draw, you draw, i draw, its so cool! :) thank you for this tutorial it was helpful

  • I like how you added the piracy in the first part of the video. I didn't even think about doing that with mine.

  • @BrandonNielsen87

Yeah, its just our way of asking people to respect our videos by not torrenting them. Sometimes it works, sometimes is doesn't. Thanks for the comment.

  • very good tutorial, but pls. make some example of any hollywood artist then do the same tutorial u show on this video...pls......

  • FANTASTIC TUTORIAL! THANK YOU FOR SHARING...

  • Not much of a likeness for an experinced artist like you but i guess it was not your goal. It inspired me how easily you drew this though, because after all it's a nice little drawing and it's totally correct by itself. Thanks :)

  • @immortaliserwow

    Yes

    You are correct.

I like my students to just get a good head drawing down.

    Then focus on the likeness.

Please check out the portrait section.

Also remember that we are training animators and concept artists.

    Structure is key.

    Please keep in touch.

  • Good as usual Sheldon, your vids always give me inspiration and help me out.

  • not enough construction, this leads to problems in the long run.

I would check out Richard Morris' portrait demos over these to learn a better foundation in portrait drawing. Also, Morris draws from life, drawing from other drawings is certainly NOT the best way to learn.

    just trying to help

  • @StyleSessions

    Yes you are correct.

We cover all the construction fundamentals in our head drawing series.

I agree with drawing from the live model and all my classes have one.

These are draw along videos to show how the drawings were done.

    Thanks for feedback.

    Regards

    Sheldon
