so therefore, when i choose to have children, i am going to want them to have the best chance to explore the world and have every chance at success, so i dont see how living like this would be ideal. i think this lifestyle suits more mature aged groups who are looking for the serenity that they have searched for during their working years. perhaps to retire with loved ones etc. i would love to hear your response and opinions.. oh i am 20 if your wondering :) thanks charlotte for taking the time.
@yewwtube Like you I believe there is a definite need to understand and be able to use technology; especially to allow one access to the environment we live in – I’d be lost without it! When I was your age we didn’t have mobiles and social media sites like we do now. Although exposure to technology is hugely important for kids, with both parents often working now, who is modeling conversations, healthy food choices and making sure they are getting enough exercise? Makes you wonder aye ;-)
hmm.. i think that what your saying leads to an ideal life inside of where these children are growning up, but lack of technology knowledge will then lead to a poor economic status if they were to intergrate into the cities, for they would (as a majority, im not speaking for each individual) be competing against other individuals who have grown up with those surroundings and computers (internet, fax, social networking, etc). i have run out of characters i will write a part 2 to this comment soz
@yewwtube Great to connect ! Kids used to go and play outside with their mates for hours; but now many will sit in front of the x-box, or sit in front of a computer while munching away on highly processed foods building fat stores rather than muscles. The art of conversation (which is a highly prized skill in the workforce) is being eroded due to young people relying on texting and social media sites to update everyone on what they are doing.
