  • This is just played as a display of technique: what a pity...

  • i feel bad for the girl you finger she'll probably explode hahah.

  • uwa! you're amazing! :)

  • I'm semi picky, so I have to say you did a great job ^_^, but! Undeniable I heard some mistakes, most early on. And I've heard and seen the music, so mind telling why you added the chord on 2:43?

  • You mean the octave at the left hand? It might've been a misreading but I don't think so since it couldn't have been tied over....that is weird though...I played on the Henle edition...

  • dude, its a cadenza. its supposed to be improvised, but since improvisation isn't really encouraged anymore, people tend to play the same old cadenzas. so bravo for him for doing something a little different. one gets tired of always hearing the same cadenza to this concerto.

  • congratulation , i like your style. !!!!

  • Bravo!

  • very very good, a bit too romantic, and sometimes too slow and too fast, but all in all, superb technique and good interpretation, respect!

  • Too romantic? Too fast? Too slow? Shutup jackass!

  • i agree

  • Some parts too fast, others too slow. Otherwise, very good.

  • Nice!

  • Beautifully done. Nice delicate touch.

  • Nice, congratulations! Have you seen argentine pianist Natalia González? She's also playing this concerto, she's awsome! Greetings

  • Amazing, purely played and just beautiful. Bravo & Encore!

  • purely played? I hate to be unkind but too many mistakes to be pure....

  • Touche...but what can I say I'm only 14 ^_^

  • wow...thats all i said after i saw this

  • kool i like this

  • bravo, splendid performance

  • wow your like aewsome. i'm learning piano so your like a great insparation lol

  • I love that piece and he play it very good.

  • lol sorry about that previous post .. didn't see the title at the beginning...

BEETHOVEN'S THE GREATEST COMPOSER OF ALL TIME

and by the way man.. you're an awesome pianist and i liked your interpretation.. great job

  • i love this.. its piano concerto no 3 isn'it?

  • i think i love you. you're amazing, god i'm jealous. how old are you, too? you seem like you have had so many years of lessons. you did overwhelmingly well.

  • you should have bowed. Good job.

  • Haha, I know! What the hell?? There's actually a funny reason why I think I didn't bow. Because the concerto night the year before, I bowed but forgot to shake the conductor's hand...so this time, my mind was all on shaking his hand...haha. I don't know.

  • lol by the way the people behind are like "woah" and staring at you playing

  • (T▽T)Exelentooooo!!!(T▽T)

  • As an audience member, I can confirm that zhangensprachen was, in fact, Zhangin It Up.

  • the people behind you look jealous

  • >:) ur too good!

  • very good my friend, very good...

  • awesome.

  • Very good :) You have talent, obviously. I don't like your interpretation much, but that doesn't mean it's bad.

  • your amazing

  • err .... u forgot to bow? .... gosh ... hahaha ... still with the music eh? =P

btw.. this cadenza is near the end (of 1st movement) .. not end of the works....

  • In the words of Peter Griffin... Un-freakin'-believable! You are absolutely wonderful! Great job!

  • Excellent work. Boldly played, just as the Master would have liked.

  • hey u single?

  • I think you banged this out which made it ugly and harsh,I know it wasn't the recording. During the lyrical part of the candenza(where beethoven goes back to the theme)play tons softer and make the sound more whole, and less bangy. On the last page where the piano does the repetative 2 notes back and forth, that needs to build, not start loud. You're a good pianist who needs maturity.(I have performed this with many orchestras)

  • i have found out that asians are usually more dedicated to the music they are playing, don't get me wrong im an asian

  • those guys look so bored in the background!! :0!! how can they be so bored!!??? O.O ur amazing sir (i guess they had a lot of concertos to do)

  • hahahaa.. good point! i noticed that too. *yawn*

  • omg that's so fucking amazing!

  • I agree... impressive. Excellent job. :)

  • I'm really taken aback by your skills.

    Truely remarkable.

and you look awesome in black, by the way.

    Keep Playing!

  • Impressive!

  • Nice playing!

  • Hey Alex!!! It's me Ernie! I didn't know you uploaded Concerto night from 2004! Wow! I remember that was a great performance! Do you have any of the parts where I played (I think I played the Mozart Piano Concerto) before you? Man, I wish there were more piano concerto opportunities here in Cornell :)

  • omg...ur fingers...wow. how old are you? u must work very hard

  • Fuck that was good

  • ure playing is hotz, and ure hotz too! =)

  • I love Beethoven's music and, while the sound quality of this recording isn't the best, I can still tell that you played very well!

  • Excellent, congratulations!

  • You are fantastic. This is quite an amazing performance. I agree with the 1st comment up ^^there^^. I am still not able to play through that entire sequence without resting. I also still have trouble keeping time. With time, I'll get there. Keep them coming!

  • WOW - Gorgeous playing!

  • Your performance is excellent... I am still at a loss as to why so many crappy performances on here get so many admiring comments, when the truly good players don't. I really like this concerto; I've played the 3rd movement, but never the 1st. Great job!

  • i think i'm at a loss as why a guy who say things like this do the things that he say himself ....
