Lol I have a purebred Lhasa Apso. You're lucky because mine is lazy just like cat and acts like one too. We believe that the home she was in before we adopted her from the shelter had a lot of cats xD
Aww haha! I have a Lhasa cross (she is 1/4 beachon, papillon, chiuaua and Lhasa haha! She's the cutest thing and lines her toys up infront of me when shes bored. :D
I love this video! I've rescued two lhasas; the first one played occasionally, my current one plays A LOT. I was very surprised by his ability to entertain himself for hours with the toys, and use two or more of them together to make "games"! I love lhasas even more now, although I didn't think it would be possible!
Not to sound like everyone else but not only does that look like my Lhasa but he seriously does the SAME thing! That is kind of cool. He would rather have a tennis ball and somehting to hide it under than food!
Wow, my lhasa apso does the same thing!!! He plays violently with his toys and balls (slapping himself in the head if there is a piece of material attached to it) He continously puts whatever it is he is playing with under a table that has a bottom 2.5 inches from the floor then tries to get it. He barks and growls til I say " I'll help you" then he wags his tail and tries to get his face under the table. Lhasas are a TRIP!!! And VERY entertaining. lol
Her brother does exactly the same with a tennis ball, getting it stuck under the sofa - although he tends to wait until everyone is well settled and watching something good on TV before bothering though.
I've seen this little dog in action, she plays for hours like this. She has never been trained she just started doing this 'thing' when she was just a few weeks old. If her brother happens to be laying on the bed at the time she wants to play, he just gets dragged around the room. It's a pretty amazing thing to watch.

My dog hides it, but then she usually grabs it back up.

Mine likes to hide his squeeky toys under the carpet and bark at them, too!
Or he'll jump on the couch and get all comfy. Five seconds later, the toy'll be on the floor, and he stares at it until we get it for him.
His name is Hairy Putter, btw.

Ahahah My Lhasa does that as well =D but when he drops it, it's most likely that my other dog, not sure of the breed, would just snatch it away. :O
