  • that was fun ... I'll be back in a minute

  • Now that was excellent..!!

Loved the banjo and its a nice lively piece of music too. Well done guys and thank you for shaing this.

  • Great Tune, and the clock

  • I recorded this, with a melodic banjo player, in 1969, myself on mandolin (hence in the key of A). I think the ideal tempo is slightly faster than 90 bpm; I think you guys are a hair slower than that, but the tune comes across beautifully and clearly in the banjo.

You play it in G. The original key would allow for a bouncier guitar part, with some nice Texas-style inversions. I like the groove of the piano on Howdy Forrester's original recording.

  • Hi Peter, thanks for your comments on this tune, you are right i played it a touch slower as banjo always sounds too fast when video'd

  • never bored of that tune:)

  • Thanks Lee, it is appreciated....Joe

  • Joe absolutely awesome, really enjoyed playing this in my showroom this afternoon, great stuff....regards Lee

  • Hey Joe, watch where you're pointing that Stealth, you could have someone's eye out with one of those. Hee hee.

    Guy
