I prefer BB's playing. To me, less is more and this clip provides the perfect comparison for me. BB's relatively easier, simple licks compared to Mayer's more complex, technical licks. That's not to take away from Mayer though. Just different styles and approach to expression. They'll both be better players than I'll ever hope to be.

If you really want to see a GENIOUs check the duet with gary moore. He really was able to put BB in the guitar battle of his life. Is an amazing vid. What does gary moore is almost... magical. The way he anticipates, guess, follows BB with absolut perfection. Just check BB´s reaction.
