I prefer Elton .... but I love the DT ... this song is an absolute masterpiece. Choosing them was in itself a merit. It '... with a very complicated and difficult keeping a difficult interpretation. is too personal and, apart from Elton, few are able to do it.

Sounds like throat damage interfering with his larynx. It can be common for singers, and he's singing like that's what happened.

Although you´re right, I´ve always feel LaBrie is not as talented as the rest of the band.

You can love his voice or you can hate it but it´s difficult to stay in the middle way.

@040774 I agree. I kinda like to think of it like Yngwie Malmsteen, you can either love his playing, or you can hate it. A band with Yngwie Malmsteen and LaBrie would get both comments on how bad it sounds, but also get comments on just how amazing it is
