I can't believe how much this mans music has influenced me through the last few years, his music got me interested in Outlaw Country, introduced me to thousands of other artists, taught me life lessons and given advice some don't feel worth giving. His music just speaks out to anyone and makes them feel emotion to it. I think a lot of people feel that way, some are just to egotistical or arrogant to admit it.

I prefer the arrangement and simple backing over Elvis' version, in spite of Johnny's fading life force. Both are okay, but Cash was somewhat more clever in delivering the song on the album the way he wanted to, as opposed to too much singers and overdubs on Elvis' records.
