Joanna was recommended to me by a friend who has fine taste in music. I can remember being incredibly disappointed as I listened. I thought it was a joke. But for some odd reason I kept listening. Her style is hypnotic. Along the way, she rewired my ears. I just put her on now and can't get her off. Away she goes with that relentless harp and eccentric child-witch voice and I'm paralysed. Can she cast spells? I think she must be in a category of her own. The best - and only - one of her kind.
