i fancy japanese voices better, i heard goku's real voice when i was like 15 and liked it right away...there's no comparison with the poorly dubbed english version, besides the original soundtrack is obviously better than the one made for the english dub.To the ones who complain about the jap voices and music, up yours, if it hadnt been for the voices and music...do u guys think this show would have been known worldwide in the first place?fucking hell of course not.

Everybody thought Tenshinhan was old dogmeat by the time the Android/Cell saga got underway & look at him here holding back the frogfaced Imperfect Cell! A Cell that after absorbing Android 17 was much stronger than the fully reintegrated Piccolo (merged with Kami). I always liked Tien, he looked like a cool character.

The creator wanted her to voice Goku because Goku (and Gohan and Goten) is meant to be innocent, naive, and pure-hearted like little kids usually are, and the best way to do show that is with a woman's voice. Plus it's not that uncommon to have a girl voice a young male character, Bart Simpson for example is voiced by a girl.

Kuririn was seen the strongest because he was always around, even the dangerous times. As for immuning to the Kamahameha, Tenshinhan had enough power to negiate the power of the Kamehameha away. That how he was seen immune. After DBZ and the power of the "Kiai" yelling overused. The meaning of immune is discarded. Tenshinhan is the strongest human. But he's always training and never around to be notice.

As you observe the power levels from the end of the DB and from the begenning of DBZ (I mean the battle Earth Heroes vs. Nappa and Vegeta) you can notice that fighters such Tenshinhan and Piccolo had largely increased their power (e.g Tenshinhan from 220 to 1800). Or when Goku and Piccolo beat Raditz...Goku had the power level of about 400 and over 9000 a year later ! In conclusion, DBZ sucks, DB rulez :)

Shin-Kikoho is more paralysing and more power putting out. The more Tenshinhan used it, the more it stopped Cell, and putting more power into it. There Tenshinhan was losing more of his life bits by bits. In more details, Tenshinhan power was close to Vegeta's power by multiplication (like the Kaioken).

I have to agree with the other guy. I mean everybody knows that DBZ is japanese but that doesn't mean it can't be gay. Anyway, personally, I don't like Goku's voice. He sounds like a lil girl. I love the music thought. The Latin version has a combination of good voices and good music. They're not perfect, they have their downs too but its better than both the English & Japanese IMO.
