  • @plplplplomg Well dude it is called WORLD of warcraft and that means they will put in alot of stuff in the game , it's not called "World of only a couple of races in the game should be allowed Warcraft".

  • It's been almost 3 years since I left the game from boredom but even to this day I still think back at the many good experiences I had. Even though it may never be the same to me, I'll probably keep these memories for the rest of my life...

  • wow died coz blizz catered for the 10% hardcore raid guilds, left the 90% to scrounge points and shit epics from hc's

  • Im sorry but when ever i hear this song it makes me think of when i ran through Ashenvale for the first time with nothing but my trusty aspect of the cheetah. such a long trip >.<

  • Awww dat ashenvale and ruining to black fathom depths for first time D:

  • Wow getting worse and worse with every expansion, nowadays no one even leaves capitol cities because there is no need to so world is desolated and world pvp is dead. Flying mounts didn't help it too... And i miss old world from vanilla and tbc which was ruined by cata. Now im waiting for gw2 this could be better but we will see, anyway next expansion for wow doesn't look appealing at all for me. WoW is killing itself since wotlk... meh meh dk, meh meh goblins and now wtf pandas....

  • Also players became less friendly, i recall old times in vanilla where i would go into my first instances, assemble group and everyone had to go to dungeon, i would summon people with my warlock, sometimes there would be fight with alliance on the way, chatting and all that shit and it was fun, now everyone just wants to speed run 10 dungeon in a day without a word. Bleh. QQ

  • @plplplplomg Because back then it really was world of warcraft, not world of queues

  • @plplplplomg ''now wtf pandas'' , pandarens were introduced back in WC3...

  • @gimmehcutiesnao orly? I played wc3 since tft came out, i think i dumped in that game thousand hours. I perfectly know about pandas which doesn't change it that for me they were always not serious, fun addition like murlocs.

  • @plplplplomg Well if you already knew about them already being introduced a long , long time ago , why did you comment ''NOW wtf pandas'' ....?

  • @gimmehcutiesnao COS ITS RIDICULOUS AND ANTICLIMACTIC TO ADD THEM? EOT

  • I have the odd thought of going with my night elf to beautiful Teldrassil and just stroll around, looking at the trees. The game was so enchanting when it started, it is only about gear and points now :(

  • @Natulcien1992 Invest in a roleplaying realm if you haven't already. ;)

  • and thus my addiction have begun

  • I am going to tell you the explaination of why WoW isn't what it is.

Many people played WC3 and knew something before about the Warcraft.

When they collapsed the Lore, and just made everything into forwarding the raids etc., The feeling of knowing that you're in the Warcraft got lost. It felt like you were being inside of Warcraft, before. The graphics were perfectly made from WC3. Nothing can compare to being inside of WoW, then getting lost in something that is not Warcraft anymore. /Danny

  • Night elf zones and music is the reason I got hooked on the game, now I'm max level I still get my kicks riding around Ashenvale etc on my frostsaber taking in the scenery and the atmosphere

  • The elves world is too wonderful

  • Old memories come back...

  • Can still not understand why Blizzard destroyed the best game ever made..

  • @tonneboyi Can still not understand how the best game ever made is destroyed.

  • @tonneboyi I will miss wow ;(

  • @tonneboyi it has not been destroyed...theres more ppl playing wow right?

  • @tonneboyi its called "money"

    thats why...

  • hOME sWEET hOME

  • @loupardent666 Caps?

  • you cannot deny that no matter what direction the game goes and wherever blizz takes us next (pandaria!) that the music will be exceptional...first class all the way...

  • hahahhaa i remember as i was a nightelf and i saw the first time an human! I ask another nightelf "Sorry, u see the human there ? Is this a player ^^?" hahahahha great times !

  • It really does bring back memories as a nelf so peaceful and fun and calm love it

  • Listening to this makes me remember how it was to play it for the first time, since my first character was a nightelf.

It was so amazing doing the first like 10 quests.

  • i miss this game soo much i really want it back :(

  • bring wow back to this, blizz:/

  • @jcbsalexyahoo It never ceases to amaze me how many people cry for WoW to go back to its roots, yet the same people will quit in two months because there's "nothing new to do." It's like a crowd of old men, sitting in rocking chairs on their porches, scowling at "youth these days" and grumbling about "the old days."

  • @ASoSounds lol obvs u nvr played vanilla..

  • @VinL4DiN You're right, I didn't. My comment was directed at the typical behavioral pattern of most MMORPG players who complain about something, it gets changed and then they want it back the way it was. It's a never-ending, repetitive cycle.

  • that part at 4:44 kind of sounds like this one /watch?v=Y80ofCkPbdE

  • I love this song, and the nostalgia. But, despite the Nostalgia I still know this zone sucked to level in.

  • Night elves' forests are so great !!!

  • 4:44 - 8:04 epic !!! Epic Epic !!

  • I play that game just for the music. *_*

  • I wish I could just bury it in a few rectums.. that would make this music so epic

  • Vanilla WoW was such a different game than the current expansions. You became immersed in the world, in the story. This music brings it back. Sure, it was slower moving but it gave time to enjoy the little things Blizzard added to the world. The fast paced, all queued, skipping story to level faster or grind things out game that it has become makes me no longer desire to play. This music brings back great memories. (just my opinion - not trying to argue with people who love it now)

  • 3:44 these few seconds from now on are the best part of music in this game! (for me)

  • @JokaTHePatriot oh ye,and 4:44 till end of it.

  • Any one know where I could download the full soundtrack, pre post cataclysm. thanks.

  • Fuck I never was a MMORPG player, but I tried out the 20 days trial one a couple of years ago. Even though I just played the game for a brief moment, this compilation here was struck in my head and it brought back many good memories. Thanks to the uploader, I am now installing WoW again.

  • @Vulmen311 dude u dont know what happens when u get highest lvl....then real no life starts....dont play this game while u still can

  • @M4N451995 So stereotypical...

  • @M4N451995 its too late.. azeroth has him now. may elune help him

  • @Vulmen311 you shouldnt it will destroy your good memories.Cataclysm ruined everything :( try wow-one.com its a lvl60 vanilla wow serrver and i am rly enjoying it

  • 8 nostalgic minutes of memories :>

  • Delete flying mounts?...my ideal "fantasy world" would allow me to fly at any time I choose!...(after learning the basics of course)...I also dont see the need many people have to be a Vanilla name dropper...get over it...vanilla was slow and boring compared to the latest expansions...gratz on playing a video game in 2004, but it doesnt impress anyone...ta ta

  • Best Song Ever as a nooby!

  • My first character, my noobie nelf hunter...i had the time of my life playing as her in classic WoW...I remember exploring teldrassil and ashenvale, admiring the night elves and listening to this beautiful music. sneaking past the guards into the barrens. Running down to ratchet and boarding the boat to Booty Bay. Seeing creatures with ?? level. Buying junk I didnt need in the auction house. Partying in Stormwind. dueling in goldshire. Everything was perfect and magical, and I miss that.

  • @TheEpicVikings me too :( soo much

  • I like going back to teldrassil just to hear this music

  • Brings back memories of when I was so amazed by the game, runing through the forest, killing things it felt so magical.

  • I miss the days when people used to travel by foot... now mostly everyone is either just flying with flight masters to their destinations, or do BG:s and Instances to 85...

  • But I think just because you had good memories in past WoW doesnt mean you should call wotlk and cata bad. I mean people said BC sucked before its release and now everybody loves BC. then people said wotlk sucked through most of the expansion..but now people are saying they miss wotlk and running naxx or ToC. then people said cata was gnna suck but now they say it has a vanilla WoW feel to it and its tough again like classic. It's more of a nostalgia thing really. The expansions werent 'bad'

  • Lol I miss the good old days in WoW too so i guess i should throw in my two cents..I remember starting out as a noob and logging on to seeing a bunch of naked nelves dancing and when a friend took me to darkshore and darnassus it looked soo different back then...i also remember hitting lvl 60 finally and hanging out with my very first guild...we did all sorts of cool stuff together but the guild slowly fell apart and disbanded around early wotlk. I miss doing ony40man and AQ40 or BWD *sigh*

  • Nostalgia

  • and all wow soundtracks are beautiful :P

  • i search it 1 year and YEAH!! I have it found :D

  • WoW soundtracks are all magnificent and all different!

  • Fuck Yea it Was!

  • omg miss the old classic wow, it was so fuckin' great.

  • reloadin y listen to it then u peace of shit

  • fuck off reloading

  • This song is the reason I kept my first character at level 30 and kept him in Ashenvale. Magical feeling I don't want to let go.

  • everyones missing vannila times...so why is blizzard not reacting to it? like making 2 or 3 servers where you can play the real classic wow. i don t think that would hurt theire incomings, would it?? and they can implement stuff because some kids whine loud enough but they can t give the classic players what they want? who the f**k are we? only the idiots who pay blizzards bills? go to the official site and start opening threats about it!

    MAKE them LISTEN!

  • @koppsr They've commented on this matter. They said they won't do anything about it because they feel it would disrupt the timeline of the game's lore. We just have to hold on to our memories bud. It pains me too :(

  • @koppsr Blizzard doesn't make classic servers because they know it won't work. Vanilla WoW was epic to you because it was new and because you were new. Going back to vanilla at this point wouldn't bring the joy of nostalgia back to you. You have your memories, and they are good because you remember them fondly.

  • @Margull

if that was the case, don t you think i would ve quitted the game lomg ago? fact is that with the ongoing changes blizz made in the game many good things wen t down the toilet, balancing and overpowering characterclasses ect. what i won t is a choice, for the people to play wow the way they want. they can implement events, haircuts and stuff on demand but they ignore it when loyal players ask for something like a vanilla-server? and don t talk about money, we both know they do alright

  • I missed vanilla wow :( i missed the orgial lv 60 wow... :(

  • Vanilla WoW > ANY EXPANSION

  • first time ashenvale i was sacary

  • IMMA DRUID NIGGA!!

  • these soundtracks for elf forests are just unbelievable..

  • I love WoW and it's music :)

  • I don't play WoW for about year... I'm not actually interested in playing WoW anymore, but just because of this music, I would pay for one last months, just travelling through the world and remembering good old times when I entered the game for the first time... but it won't be like for the first time. I'm not the same, WoW is not the same.

  • @MrNarim music=greatest factor of nostalgia :(

  • @MrNarim just go on a private server bro, don't waste your money on blizzard

  • Comment removed

  • @MrNarim Nostalgia and rose0tinted glasses are one hell of a drug.

  • Comment removed

  • create* :))

  • Wow is doing great, as always :) And I doubt you have seen all the areas in wow. Creat and alt, turn the wow music on...AND PLAY !

  • Oh god, memories oh being overwhelmed the first time I started playing, yet, now the world seems so small, and more recycled.

Hopefully I get that in the next expansion: More of the feeling of unknown, less of a Deathwing faceroll across the world.

  • reminds me of Zelda for some reason

  • still get nerd chills

  • 3:43 :')

  • Teldrassil is home for me... all the trial accounts I managed to get a hold of. Just to be in that world, hear that music and feel that great. ^^-

  • Wow was awesome... now sucks everything its about gear, hardcore players and playing with strange people who are not your friends... they are probably expelled from the guild

  • @Karovh agree ;(

  • Remember the first time i played wow on my level 10 Night Elf, running through Ashenvale to explore the horde territory The Barrens, when this soundtrack just started i just felt a magical feeling in my body, wanted to stay on that bridge in Nightsong Woods forever it was so epic! I MISS U VANILLA WOW! :(

  • @Gaming4Razer Vanilla WoW was horrible.....

  • @Reloading26 you shut your whore mouth.

    3:52 gave me a jolt of memories I didn't know I had.

  • @Jiggleton I am not a girl, dumb ass. Vanilla WoW was just a boring grind find.

  • @Reloading26 you sure throw like one, shitdick.

  • @Jiggleton You are classified as a dumb ass troll. I don't have time to deal with trolls like you like you. Bye dumb ass.

  • @Reloading26 But you have time to listen to a soundtrack of a videogame you disliked. peace sugartits

  • @Reloading26 It was the fucking best one you stupid ignorant mofo!

  • @Xalted118 Don't even talk to me if you're going swear while you voice your opinion. that just makes you immature.

  • @Reloading26

Definitely agree with you. It was crap compared to wow what it is now. Quests were boring, less pvp, less instances, smaller world etc. I bet that if blizz would make vanilla wow server then these people who whine about expansions would play that server like onen week and then go back to cata. Only thing i dont like with expansions is that they kill all the good characters, but vanilla wow was worse than wow is today. Memories grow sweeter with time.

  • @Gaming4Razer

how very true...the spirit of wow is lost because you have to hurry. You have to get new stuff , beter gear , grind fast.U never have time to stop and admire the world or wow.

  • @Gaming4Razer staight up man i was like 12 at the time of vanilla wow and was such a noob .... but i got this feeling whenever i played.... gave me shivers , and whenever i would see a lvl 60 i waould get so exited and say i will never reach lvl 60!!!! well now i am lvl 73 and al the magic is gone

  • @Gaming4Razer Yeah. Prolly never get that feeling back. This song is what started Wow for me, running around as a night elf hunter in teldrassil...... this music seriously gets me emotional, like a sad, but still good feeling. Nerdy as it is. Thank you Blizzard and Jason Hayes for the great moments in Wow! :)

  • @Gaming4Razer I KNOW EXaACCCCTLY HOW YOU FEEL!

I would always try and play it the most I can! It was an adventure hearing this!!!!

  • @Gaming4Razer omg dood i used to do the same exact thing... i miss old wow.... such strong nostalgia... ahhh good times

  • @Gaming4Razer dude that immense feeling in my body was wayy better than being high on weed.

  • this song reminds me of level 4 NE rogue, run to iveron in 4 minutes before he dies of the spider poison!! now, oh no, i am bleeding out of my gut on my own ship, but do not worry take as long as you like to get that rope to heal up the wound, you know what, go do a other quest instead, come back to this one later, i will be fine. I liked the game, when the challenge was there, now i can literally faceroll to level up. really only need 1 ability to level up now and kill things in 3 sec.

  • @lessmessful Don't forget the ability to fly in Azeroth. It makes the world smaller

  • i missed wow when it was rlly hard to lvl..and theur wrnt many lvl 70s in a server..maybe only like 10 out of a whole server...what wow should do is reset everyone back to lvl one and decrease the exp so it can be how it used to be....FUN!!

  • @gilligin132 how about no. all that hard work and to just be reset no....

  • cataclysm is gay!! Wrath of the lich king was the best because of northrend and lonqe' Nahak.

  • I'd start wow again, but the monthly payment is just too much for a poor fellow like me to pay! :(

  • Delete flying mounts and wow would be perfect

  • @dennisnedry Quit trolling scrub, no one cares what you think.

  • oh god the memories!

  • Wow is magical indeed Rayden85.... but i must admit.. the first time playing wow, the first time walking trough Teldrassil, listening to the music, Elwynn Forest back then.. Thunder Bluff for the first time.. so free, thats MAGICAL! new content = dragons and fire.. magical? dont think so :(

  • I hate that on my realm i never see anyone levelling in the zones anymore..i loved those days

  • i don't play anymore wow since 2010 ......i miss wow

  • WoW draws people in and ex players back like no other. It has a really high return rate even if its for a short time. People quit, say it sucks, but then go back to it for a couple of months, stop again and the cycle goes on. Its amazing. And this is definitely one of the big reasons I'll go back. To walk around all day listening to epic BGM being taken away to another world. I wonder how it'll be phased out.. And I find it really hard to find another MMORPG with such a game experience.

  • the night-elf soundtrack in cataclysm suxxsss !! <3 i love this soundtracks more it reminds me back in time when i had a night-elf hunter lvl 60 then every week ragnaros raid amazing !!

  • I think it's the other way around. Before it was a rush to 80 because 90% of the quests were boring and outdated. In cataclysm, the music is amazing, the quests are fun, I found 85 terrible and the questing great, a true reflection of the time spent on each area of the game.

  • Nothing but pure kickassium !

  • wtf?? 9 dislikes?? are hordes? or retards? o it is the same =)

  • Omg, i'm such a noob at WoW.. AND I LIKE IT !!!

  • i quit 7 days after cata released, having played for just over 5 years, i finally left.

but this song especially makes me hate and miss that game, i honestly miss the days of being a noob.

  • Thats shit.. Alliance sucks but it owns the most beautiful songs >< and the most beautiful views... !!!

    FOT THE HORDE !

  • Thats shit.. Alliance sucks but it owns the most beautiful songs >< and the most beatiful views... !!!

    FOT THE HORDE !

  • i remember the times i play wow ....

    the music is epic!

i never forget this very nice and fuckin game

  • does anybody know who the composer(s) is?

  • This reminds me mainly of Teldrassil lol whn you start of as a night elf :)

  • I used to scurry over to the Ashenvale moonwell to make my mooncloth directly after Molten Core. The music was soothing and refreshing not to mention the environment, and your at a FUCKING moonwell how can you not be calmed lol

  • yea i remember walking by the lake near dolanaar and seeing those hulking creeps walking around. tool tip on day one said they were "unknown" i thought they were turd monsters lulz

  • wow my whole body aches ............. memories bursting through my skin! love it!

  • i never played this game im going to try and not to :3 ....but the music is fucking amazing (:

  • FUCKING GOOSEBUMPS ALL THE WAY

  • I really wish the expansions were gone and I could erase my memory of WoW and start over. This reminds me of when I first started this game and made my Night Elf Rogue who is now 85 running around done being fascinated with all of the sights and sounds now that I've seen it all 100 times... Ahh the memories...

  • 3:46 Goose bumps.

  • cata better not affect teldrassil. it hurt ashenvale enough

  • This music reminds me when i played WoW 4 years ago...i was .. lv 16 i think with troll shaman..good players at that period, all wanted to help you but now...when you need help they run away

  • First time I ever entered this zone, I was amazed xD Though, first time exploring around, I kept running into mobs way higher than me lol.

  • reminds me of the very first hours in wow, when you were a night alf about lvl...4... dam that were epic times, i wish i was stuck in these times.. but i became a high level deathknight and than i stopped playing this game... liek a few years ago.. but this soundtrack is way to beautifull to forget..

  • As weird as this sounds, hearing this makes me want to see an orchestra in night elf garb playing the backing to this, with a singer (also in night elf garb) doing the vocals.

However, what I'd much rather is to magically erase my memories of WoW and somehow wipe the expansions and their associated patches away so I can go back to being a blissfully ignorant n00b that gets awed by every sight and sound.

  • that breakdown at 2:37 is the reason i'm here GAAAAAHHHH LOVE IT SO MUCH

  • @omgpuppies0707

    That, and 4:41 .......

  • Lovely that music in wow ;)

  • Ashenvale the zone i like the most in wow.

  • Comment removed

  • @dacapo54877 I may be a dwarf, but even I know nightelf territories are the most fun and magical. ^.^ It's sad they cut down all the trees though... :-( - "Magdat" ,dwarf paladian, lvl 80, from Dentarg realm. (Former player of WoW)

  • @dacapo54877

the horde made sure that part of it is noy so magical. i miss it too.

  • @dacapo54877 ya i had many memories in ashenvale

  • Magic feeling whenever i hear this. I still play, but every time i hear it, i remember, for a second, how i felt first time when i heard it, long time ago, during early vanila, and the images flash before my eyes. When i was a noob, discovering the world, being amazed with everything, and how i "grew". I remember when i first joined battleground... i felt my heart is going to jump out, first instance, first raid, friends... and so MUCH more. Wish i could feel the same again.

  • i remember teldrassil, darkshore,ashenvale..they were the first places i visited in WoW (WoW was my first mmo, but i stopped playing cuz i hate how its just about running same instances over and over again). I felt alone in the game when i heard this music, but in same time it felt magical. :O Meeting people and questing with them, feeling like a complete noob when asking questions to guildies and running instances for the first time or simply staring at higher level players walking near you. :)

  • this song is great running through the enchnated forest and hearing the song of elune. really makes u think of the history and the sacrifce the night elves had given. Elune light ur path and may the stars guide u

  • I was horde, I liked this music, but you end up going near Splintertree and the big orc drums start [It is as annoying to me as it is for alliance to hear the SW music] so I get pissed off and just hang by the alliance's side to hear the epic music.

  • This is one of the only things I like about the Alliance.

  • Best song in the soundtrack imo

  • 0:00 - 0:45

Close your eyes...and remind the old good days.

  • ah... i really hate this map because i always get lost when doing quests lol

  • You know what makes WoW such an EPIC game? Why is it so addictive ?

Because in WoW, we can do what ever we want, we can live, as we want. Because in WoW, we're not being interrupted by our hard, dark and evil real life. In WoW, we see such beautiful zones, which are not on Earth. In WoW we do such things we can't do in our real life. That's what makes it addictive game for those who have hard life, I'm not addicted at all, but I still love WoW. 8th year playing..when I listen to this..epic feel

  • @konkvistador75 never played it...but ive seen it many times...i deffinetly believe you there. Its a way of escaping ...like reading a book or listening to music...such as this! I wish the earth really had these kind of beautiful areas such as the ones ive heard about in movies, books and of course video games.

  • @konkvistador75 8th year ? i thought wow was out in 2004 !

  • @mechkapechka 7 years and almost 7 months...isn't this almost 8 year ? lol.

  • @konkvistador75 okey i didn't meant to annoy you just saying ...

  • I know every song! its a bit sad hearing that. It reminds me to the good old WoW time
