Could you explain the broiling part? I am not American (and I don't really know how to use my oven) Is it the same function called "Grill" on the oven?
@TodHeartsound The broiling unit is the top unit in your oven. Not all ovens have them so if you don't you will just have to let the sauce caramelize by continue baking them. If you do have a top heat unit in your oven - turn it on to max and keep a close eye on the ribs so they do not char. I hope this helps! Thanks for stopping by!
@pastryparrot1 Thanks for the reply. I already made those yesterday and they were superb! At first, I thought I used way too much garlic but my guests, who hate garlic didn't think so!
About broiling: In Europe, modern ovens (even cheap ones like mine) have two positions that are represented by triangles pointing downwards. VVV means top-grilling (in Europe, we don't use broiling but say Grilling and mention top or bottom). VV means top grilling, center location (for small dishes).
@TodHeartsound Thank you! I appreciate you clarifying that for me. I am very happy these came out great for you! I hope you have a fantastic rest of the day!
Thank you for this recipe VERY much. I'm not american but I tried BBQ baby back ribs in States and they were AMAZING, one of the best things I've ever eaten in my whole life. I tried to replicate them in my country but they were never perfect as those I ate in the US (I was grilling them). I will try this cooking way, thank you a lot!

I love your video's :) They are the bomb! I think I will try this recipe this weekend. I have a special young lady that I would like to cook dinner for and I think this is something she'll like. Now I just need to find a good side dish to go with the ribs?
@dbrown251 Awesome! I hope these come out perfect for you! Try the broccoli slaw and maybe some baked beans as a side for this. Sweet potato chips also would go great with the ribs. You will find all these recipes on the web page. Thank you very much!

Thank-you Mary-Ann for such a Great video! The step by step instructions were really great, as I don't have a lot of experience cooking ribs ( for example I didn't even know I was to remove a membrane). I have added you to my favourites, and you now have a dedicated fan. LOVED the ribs, as did the family! Keep up the good work, and you have a beautiful puppy.

This recipe was wonderful I made it at my sisters house. Everyone loved it. As for being a snob i didn't see anything that indicated that! As a matter of fact i thought she was kinda funny at times. Thanks for the tip with the membrane! :)
@Zenkiboost I don't think you did anything wrong! Ribs do tend to shrink when they are cooked. I hope they tasted fine! Thanks so much for giving these a try!
The broiler pan you used is perfect to make indoor ribs. Also removing membrane as it imparts a fatty flavor to the meat. I pour about 1cup of water in the bottom and add 1 teaspoon of liquid smoke in with the water. Steam from the water infused with the smoke really gives them the taste of outdoor hickory grilled. Will also aid in moisture. I like layers of sauce, brushing every 10 mins at least 3 or 4 times letting it caramelize inbetween. Can eat a rack by myself.
You are very welcome. Maybe give it a go once and see if you like the results. Don't get me wrong there is nothing like real grilled ribs with some hickory wood. Yrs ago liquid smoke was some artificial flavored liquid and not it's water vapor collected from smoking wood. I have also brined ribs for 24 hrs in a solution of salt and liquid smoke, do a Boston Butt in the mixture makes for some good pulled pork. I love pig but not the cost when eating out. Have a blessed wk
