The truth is I am gay, always have been and since owning up to the fact and living my life true and without the burden of religion I am happier than i have ever been and so are all my family including my ex wife. There are many straight people who love gays, I am raising my children to be accepting of gay people. I personally feel, we should teach children to be tolerable to gays, racism, discrimination usually stems from the parents. I think any parent who limits their children or denies them acces to educated information is denying them a right to learn.
Its like telling a child the sky is only blue, the sky can be red, pink,orange,yellow,green,grey and even black from sunset or even a storm
