  • I would have taeke the live round from his gun force him to eat them

  • WOW great WORK i love hearing such stories where there robber got what he deserved Husband should buy a .45ACP pistol for bday lol

  • Hey he had to make a living, his mom kicked him out for not getting a job, staying out late, doing drugs, and being a moron. Since he had no job prospects, he stole some of moms money, bought a hot gun on the street and failed yet again in life trying to rob the barista. LOL

  • id pull out my judge and fill his face with lead....

  • @outdoorsmanhero And perhaps some of the buildings behind him?

  • In Idaho 1 in every 23 people has a concealed weapons license and there are no restrictions on open carry. Most homes in Idaho have guns in them and one in every four CWL holders is a woman. The odds for a robber in Idaho are not good and this clip proves the point.

  • Should have just killed the stupid thug to save the tax-payers some money on jail time. Like he will ever make a contribution to society anyways....

  • KEL TEC PF9 FOR THE WIN!

  • my kinda woman..

  • what a nice robber ahah

  • LOL!!! At the risk of sounding sexist I will say Cute girl using feminine wiles + cute girl with gun = robber got owned :-) But hey, I wouldn't have it any other way :-)

  • What a thoughtful and caring husband she has.

Kids wake up, you may be playing a deadly game and YOU may be the dead guy in the news story. Then an hour later, you will be forgotten forever. It's not worth it.

  • @keek0524 Your sister is HOT!!! Kudo's to her for getting the scumbag.

  • @keek0524 Tell her nice choice. I love these Kel-Tec's, and they are American made to boot.

  • a 17 year old gotta make a living? LOL, Atleast he was nice about it haha. And another gun saves a life!

  • good for her. she should have quoted outlaw jose wales... dyin' aint much of a livin'...

  • who's the one idiot who thumbs downed this video? what's not to like? the robber wasn't successful and nobody got hurt... which is what happens most often when a citizen is responsibly armed.

  • her husband must have senced some day she will need that gun and sure enuf she did!!!! lol i love american for the fact that u can get a gun and walk around with it in ur pocket but in canada u gotta have it visable even with a concealed wepons permit and the hunting license!!

  • Wow good job to stay calm headed. Most people round here would have been hollering and screaming their heads off. I probably could not have remained so calm looking down the barrel of a gun. I carry a pf9 too, mine has been a decent little gun.

  • Looks like a PF-9. Love it! :)

  • He's lucky. My wife would have shot him in the face.

  • @MB3Productions scary

  • @keek0524 cheek out the sr9 Ruger and the compact sr9 Ruger u will like that one to that's what I carry every day but the kel-Tec pf9 there grate guns to.

  • She was very smart to wait for a distraction before pulling her own gun. Had she pulled it well he was still pointing his at her she most likely would have been shot. Notice how her gun was a 9mm and not a .45 and it still resolved the situation. I wonder if she could legally keep a shotgun under the counter in her stand. Then she would really be ready.

  • Hats off to this chick!

  • kel-tecs are good affordable guns, i just bought my wife the new taurus pt709slim

  • @keek0524 I am so glad your sister was prepared to defend herself.

  • Yep, Kel-Tec PF9. I like that gun but had the extra money for a Taurus 709. I liked that trigger and finnish better than the Kel-Tec. I started off with a Kel-Tec P11, wish I would have started off with the PF9. Single stack is way more comfy to conceal.

Bought my girl friend a Glock 23 because she wanted a "big gun" to carry. She should have listend to me to get a 709 or PF9. Oh, well atleast she has a great hiking/camping/car/house gun now.

  • No she's not you idiot!

  • Kristy, did you know that Dr. Piazza, from Front Sight, said this?: "If you know who this "Coffee Girl" is, please have her contact me. I have a Four Day Defensive Handgun Course waiting for her and her husband as a gift from Front Sight for her job well done!"

    - Jim

  • Good job Ms. Cornellsen! Who knows what that punk might have done if you had complied? You did the right thing, and don't let anyone try to tell you different!

  • wow shes ugly and haggard looking.

  • what a pointless comment

  • I have to disagree with that statement. If you ask me, she kind of reminds me of Kari from Mythbusters.

  • @keek0524 Hats off to her and you and your entire family, damn proud to be a fellow armed citizen in the state of Idaho...

  • Pistol-packin' cutie: 1

    Dirtbag Criminal: 0

  • A 17 year old.

Can't buy a rifle or shotgun until your 18, 21 to buy a handgun.

    What does this mean?

The kid, did NOT buy the gun from a gun store!

  • "A man's got to make a living"

and then they say he's 17? when you're 17, you're still living with your parents and they're paying for almost everything you own.

  • ACTUALLY - seems he lives at home and STEALS everything they own... Hes got a history ....

  • I am glad your sister is safe and that she has protection and knows how to use it with proper judgement. All law abiding citizens should be very well armed. Best wishes to you and your family!

  • Stay safe!

  • Your sis is awesome. Robbers will think twice about messing with fiery redheads. :) It's also a neat idea for a business.

  • Just so it's all in the family!

  • Bravo!

  • You know you live in Eastern Washington when a barista carries a gun. :)

  • hey michelle, glad to hear that turned out so well. thank god that there are still people in our country like you.

  • Excellent job lady..

  • Also folks! We want to thank everyone for their support with this incident so we are letting everyone know that if they come in and refer to a forum and/or site and give us their username (in confidence of course) you will get $1 off any drink you order! Please limit it to one visit.

Come on in so we can thank you personally for your support!

  • Excellent Job !

Take a bow ! Certainly hope you get any negative feedback to your business for "Pointing a gun at a child and threatening him" PLEASE inform all of us if you do. There are legal specialist for these type of situations. We are going to share this with our friends not on YouTube.

  • @DandDskeeto

you got to be kidding me a 17yr old is NO CHILD, so what you're telling us is that he has all the right in the world to be robbing people at gun point.

  • @terahybrid I think Dandkeeto is simply saying that anti-gun morons w/ connections to groups like NAACP may want to attack her over this in court. If they do....., then let us all know (he simply left a word out "DON'T")! :D

But... many don't realize this is in North Idaho where gun ownership is a near pre-requisite for being a citizen of this state! ;-)

  • I sure wish I lived closer to Idaho! I would not only be one of your best customers, I would also give her a few boxes of ammo and a Medal of Valor! :-)

  • Hi all. Michelle here.

Thank you so much for your support! I really appreciate it. This sort of thing happens to people every minute of every day. I was prepared and therefore all ended well. My heartfelt thanks to the quick response of the 911 dispatchers and the CDA PD and Sheriff.

    -Michelle Cornelsen

**An armed society is a polite society**

  • Good job Michelle, you did the right thing.

  • Great story! Thanks for posting it!

  • Good job. She faced danger with steady hands and good heart.

  • Kel-tec PF9?

  • correct!

  • If there were no minimum wage laws then that kid would not have to resort to theft to make money.

  • I fear you must either clarify your comment as sarcasm or face a multitude of "thumbs-down" ratings...

  • what mementomori690069 is trying to say, is that minimum wage laws creates the unintended consequence of killing otherwise low paying jobs for people who don't have many skills but want to work. Certainly not an excuse for armed robbery. Only a commentary on the unintended consequence of government interference in the marketplace.

  • @Mementomori690069

Minimum wage laws help. They don't mean that you get paid minimum wage. Just that the kid would make at least minimum wage.

  • Proud of her! Good job.

  • Another gun saves another life. Awesome.

  • Could it be that the life it saved was actually the robber's?

  • I'd say both lives were saved. I'm glad this ended w/o shots fired.

  • @TheArmedCitizen awesome i dont know if you do this youtube thing on your oown but your awesome

  • Good JOB !! The police was no where around,, so you could protect your self ,

Unless a bill passes H. R. 45 ck it out

    And you did Great .!

  • That teenage criminal should be grateful she didn't pull the trigger and gave him a chance to leave.

  • That's awesome!!

  • Perfect .5*

  • I need a woman like that sorry she is taken:{

  • Thanks for all the great comments!! This is my wife Michelle and all our family and friends are EXTREMELY proud of her strength and use of discretion. I have always taught her discretion but to shoot to kill if in danger. We are glad that she did not fully pull the trigger. The boy's father came in today to thank Michelle for not shooting his son. We pray this failed robbery will help this boy think about the rest of his life. Thanks again for the great comments!

  • **Note** Comments from "titancda" have been privately verified as coming from the husband of Michelle Cornelsen!

  • @titancda Man my wife is the same way but she new how to shoot when she was yung but i have toke her and show her how to shoot beter and now she feel's safe for what she has lernt i go to the us shooting academy in oklahamo it's a nice rang and the have schooling. God bless your wife for being strong to not to do it some ppl would do it any ways but she new he was yunge she did a grate job you have a good woman.

  • @titancda I'd like to commend you and your wife for being upstanding, responsible citizen's.

  • @titancda

Good to hear. Michelle seems like a very nice person. =)

  • @titancda thank you for giving her that pistol im am so glad that Americans have that -2nd amendment. i live in canada i have to way to defend my self except runing

  • @titancda Beautiful and armed. You're a lucky man!

  • This was in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. 50 miles south of me. She is a great American! My wife is a concealed carry gun owner, and she exercises her right's and duties every day!

    Great post!

  • God created man, Sam Colt made them equal.

If women want protection and some equality in a potentially violent situation they need to be armed.

If you wear a seat belt, by insurance, eat healthy, get regular checkups, or any other investment in your health you should also think about getting a gun. You don't want to have to use it, but dont want to have to need it and not have it. I would hate to have my wife's last thoughts on this world be "wish I had a gun".

  • The gift that keeps on giving!!

  • What is wrong with the youth of America today where they need to resort to violence and aggression to make money.

Like the lady said, the child didn't seem like he wanted to do it but felt like he had to to make money.

Really shows something sad about our government and economy.

  • The kid had the wrong idea about the phrase "make money."

  • @TheArmedCitizen

Yes but why is he in that mind frame and what series of events has lead him to do the robbery.

He didn't want to hurt anyone and seemed like a nice person but he just needed money.

I know his actions where and are very serious but I'm just saying.

This kind of stuff makes me sad.

  • Sad as it may be you can't afford to let your guard down anymore, not even for juveniles. I used to work in a juvenile correctional facility and you COULD NOT turn your back on them

  • Government does not legislate morality. Morality is a conscious decision to do right. You cannot say that the government has failed if the kids are not taught form birth right form wrong. It is their parents' jobs. I say it really shows something sad about the parents in our country?

  • They want it all right away, a 50,000.00 car, a deluxe condo, and a few dozen hookers to service them 24/7.

They can start out like my generation did, I worked crappy jobs as I had no work history to impress employers with. I didnt have a BMW or a beachside condo at 17, but I did make enough to treat myself to a few items I wouldnt have been able to afford otherwise.

  • If you think you had it hard, this kid got beat by a girl with a gun. You take for granted how difficult and dangerous armed robbery is.

  • Amen, I get so sick of these vermin that want to take from those that struggle to get what they have

  • KELTEC PF9 baby! Huge respect for that woman. She couldn't have done better!

  • awesome!!!!

  • i m happy for her !

  • kel-tec to the rescue!!!

  • nice, my wives been packin since i started. too many crazies out there not to

  • The gun is a Kel-Tec PF-9, a great gun for self defense, kicks like a mule though. I trust my life with a PF-9 everyday.

  • I love it! Ok aside from this you must all check out the video that I just uploaded, please give it time to process but at least try to watch it tonight. IT's important! thx.

  • An espresso stand? That's a good idea. I might do that if I can't get a job and I can think of several places to do that.

  • Glad it ended the way it did. She was smart the way she handled it. I'm so glad women are more and more becoming sheepdogs and protecting themselves from wolves. Thank God for the Second Amendment.

  • Amen!

  • Readers and viewers, please invite the women in your life (most of whom are, in my experience and to my chagrin, ignorant and fearful of weapons) to this video, and to other stories of women defending themselves with guns. Education is key to pushing back the boundaries of fear and misconception.

  • he likes to stress a lot lol

  • FTW.. great present for christmas, she did it perfectly and her husband deserves a pat on the back for having great taste in weapons and wife.

  • Looked like a Sig which made a great Christmas present for her. WTG for protecting yourself by using the right moment and to the Husband for giving her a great weapon to do it with.

  • im pretty sure thats a kel-tec pf9

  • it's a kel-tec

  • Kel-Tec PF9 actually. The compact Sig's look either like the 226 or a miniature 1911.

  • Don't forget the p232 which is based on the PPK.

  • Is it me, or did this woman do everything right?

  • If she let him pick up his gun when he left then not really.

  • Almost. To bad he got the drop on her. Were there any indications that he was going to rob her? Was he sizing her up during the conversation?

I think she did a great job. Sounded very calm and hope this incident was not traumatic for her.

  • As right as even the most left-wing gun grabber could ask for. Ma'am I salute you and regret that the punk got the drop on you

  • I surely could not have done better myself!

  • Awesome! More guns less crime....

  • Good job, ma'dam!
