so excited!! hes coming to my school on Valentine's day :D then we're having the rock concert later that night!!!! all the songs we're going to play with him were alittle challenging but my school's orchestra managed to pull all of them off :)
@thedragonloverify That's great! I know that when Mark performed w/ the orchestras I'm with, I know that we used an activity bus. As a matter of fact, he (Mark) asked us what types of reaurauts we had, what we had like malls, movie theaters (We have TWO movie theaters in the town I live), and that general area. Seeing as my orchestra teacher told our class Mark would be back in three years (Last year; the day after our concert), I'll get to play with Mark again! I'm looking forward to it.
@thedragonloverify I had a classmate, who just so happens to be a violin player, win a Stingray too, and gotta ask, how did your concert with Mark go? I'm a cello player, but I'm learning how to play bass. Luckily I won't have to learn how to bow and learn the note names.
@MrWalkthroughsguy The concert actually went really well. We had so many people there that the noise level of the concert sovered up the mess ups. I think all the parents and watchers were impressed. Mark was really nice. He was asking my school kids what a good place to eat at was. The only problem was trying to get my bass back to the school.
So I had the concert two days ago and I am happy to say that it went fantastic. Especially because you couldn't see us basses. Oh, well it was probably for the best. Mark Wood was really nice and one of my friends won a raffle and got a stingray violin.
@thedragonloverify Don't worry, it'll be fine. He'll understand, I played with him on 11/2/11 and 11/3/11, and he didn't care that some of us could keep up with some of the songs. As long as you are in tune you'll be fine.
@MrWalkthroughsguy thanks I finally feel a bit better. I have the concert this thursday and my school isn't the only one having problems with the music. Now instead of being worried about just my playing I'm worried that the entire concert might not go so well. Though I'm sure there has to be a least on good school
I have a concert with this guy in a few weeks. Man am I nervous. Our class doesn't have enought time to learn all the songs so we have to learn at the concert.

He's coming to thehigh school on the 17th andthen Trans-Siberian Orchestra is coming in March. I would LOVE to see him!!!
