@demiro123 We are usually fans of hard based effects (DN-X1600, DHM-800, etc) but DJ software effects are getting better and easier to use all the time. Thanks for the question.

Ducknie, You can connect your 2 turntables into traktor to control traktor's Deck A & B, and use the traktor software to internally control the other 2 decks, C & D.

So yes, you can simultaneously use 4 decks in traktor with 2 turntables.

I recently bought Traktor Pro 2 months ago and havent looked back, you wont be disappointed.

Hmmm, I seem to recall that Ritchie Hawtin uses Traktor? And may I remind you that he is one of the most inovative DJs on the planet! Plus, if you were able to look at a microsopic image of Seratos time-code and Traktors, you will see that Traktors time-code is much better! Plus they are lighter. AND, Traktor Scratch Pro has built in effects which put pioneer effects to shame. There are just too many plus points for Traktor, and not enough for Serato! Even the price is better. Need I say more.

if it seems to good to be true though ...thsts whats bugging me ...I'm on the fence with serato n traktor ...mainly because I think somehing big will happen shortly with serato/ableton collab but if not traktor is deff looking better option on paper....its just most serious long time djs say serato is stable solid and sorted , period,...and that traktor is good but hs issues .....

Hmm, well just recently I was playing on the same night as DJ Woody. I was in the booth with him, taking in his skills whilst he uses Serato to navigate through all of his tunes and scratch samples, and then it crashed.... right in the middle of his set! So it appears that if it's true what you say about Traktor having issues is true, then both are just as bad as each other. Unfortunately if you're using software to DJ with, it's probably going to mess up at some point!

traktor is looking the stronger option to me just now though I hve to say.

, considering , the audio interface extras, the vinyl quality and the extra effect, decks and everything else .... that serato doesn't have .

I currently use traktor 3 with a midi controller. If I had traktor scratch could i still use my controller.

this way i can control it with cdj's or turntables when i'm playing out in a club but I dont have to spend a ton of cash on my own cdj's or turntables just so i can control traktor?

Its similar, but Traktor Scratch is a standalone piece of software, used with their AUDIO 8 box can be run with any mixer or cd player/turntable.

i recommend traktor scratch with traktor dj studio 3, use both of them and more higher sound quality then other dj softwares... the good things with traktor u should watch the tutorial video of traktor dj studio 3 or traktor scrach...

I can see that you are using the cue and play buttons on the cdj's when you are using Serato, so i hope that traktor has fixed that problem.

one of the things to mention is that it will work with any midi device unlike serato... you also get 4 decks which is significantly better, it also supports more music formats.. looking forward to the next Traktor video.. more and more professional dj's are using this system (fom electronic music)

Yeah, the 4 deck feature with full Traktor 3 is awesome!  Effects, customizable interface. It's got a LOT going for it.
