It's about the music, not how it's achieved. Does it sound good when I play it? Am I getting the right notes, the right feel, something of the right sound? That's all that matters. Opinions on that, good or bad, I'm all ears. But don't talk to me about "uncivilised," that's just ignorant. Picking is a different style, different technique, different approach. So *you* lighten up and start focusing on what's important, namely the music. End of the day, I'm playing, you're just yapping.
