  • All you need is a tortilla and cilantro, onion, and salsa.

  • WTH? No mesquite? What's with all these extra unneeded ingredients? You only need two things. Cook fajitas on grill, throw into a tortilla, and EAT. That's it.

  • @TexasFury They were mesquite briquettes... yeah, not real wood I know, I know. Thanks for watching!

  • You had me at..."Que Pasa"

  • @gadget956 LOL!! Those were some mighty tasty fajitas, fer sure! Thanks for watching!

  • Ok 4 a woman , but those arent fajitas, 4 shame

  • @crudebl4ck Que?

  • Great Video And Love the dancing hahaha

  • @lefthooks24 Thanks, who knows, they might get me on Dancing with the Stars next year, LOLOL!!!!! Cheers!

  • Looks delicious! Does dancing around like an idiot help?

  • @goodshowcanada Sure does. It's totally no fun to have a fajita party and not dance around! LOL! Cheers!

  • looks good....buuuut,you cut the fajitas wrong...supposed to be against the grain...First cut it n half...then cut them long ways...that way you cut the strings n pull them instead of trying to bite the the stringy meat...looks awesome tho!!

  • @ichubbs81 On this cut, the grain goes long ways, so I was indeed cutting against the grain. Yes, I know better than to cut it with the grain, too stringy to eat that way, lol. Thanks for watching!

  • Mexicans don't use thermometers. The cook usually tastes it, then passes it around to his other Mexican drunk homies standing around the grill before we take it inside to the gossiping Mexican wives and our 50 kids. lol. Im Mexican by the way. Great video, I loved it.

  • @mikesc281 Its the only way!

  • @mikesc281 Okay, are you George Lopez? Sure sounds like something he would say, lol. Cheers!

  • I think INS is in your yard.

  • I loved your opening. Too good.

  • @threeque Gracias amigo, el gusto es mio.

  • Wow real charcoal! We don't see that much anymore in these parts. Hey do you know how to make aztec pie?

  • @78recordrepair Never heard of aztec pie, what's in it? Nah, that wasn't real-real charcoal, it was just hickory charcoal briquettes. But it got 'er done. No one left that table hungry! Salud!

  • @steeljan Its made with layers of tortijas, black olives, salsa, sour cream, hamburger (I think), peppers, ect. Its been many years since I had it, so I probably forgot some ingredients. But it tastes awesome.

  • Very similar to my marinade for carne asada. On the 4th I'll be smoking a brisket, pork butt and baby back ribs. Take heed as I bring glory to the smoking arts!

  • @nige4958 Sounds yummy! Don't forget to send me those shark bellybuttons. ;-)

I'm dying to taste my all grain HB51 Collaboration Amber Ale. It will be 3 weeks old and have been chillin in the kegs for 10 days this Friday, the big taste testing day! Does that sound like an okay amount of time to wait for the first pour? Thanks

  • @steeljan I'm not big on aging beers, unless we're talking strong. Three weeks is fine. I usually drink mine when they drop bright. If you age too long, you'll lose some of the hop flavor and aroma.

  • agree with everything but the cooking temps... Medium Rare for me! hahaha

  • @jakecpunut Medium rare on fajitas? Oh man, I didn't get these anywhere near as dark as is typical down here, most times folks make 'em nearly burnt, lol. But oh man, nobody left that table hungry, I guaran-dam-tee that. :-)

Need to see some more new vids from ya Jake. Really like your accent, music to my old ears man.

  • You crack me up with the Bob Barker microphone.

  • @yartp LOL, Bob Barker mic, LOL. Yeah, I broke my lapel mic, fixed it, then broke it again. Keep stepping on the cord, argh. So yeah, this is my cheesy pc gaming mic that usually is in a desk pedestal, I just detached it. Looking for a cheap wireless lapel mic.

Say, have you brewed it yet?

  • Shame on you, Texans aren't supposed to use charcoal Briquettes.

    Tex-mex food mmmm good!

  • @brewinathome We can use charcoal briquettes, long as they're hickory flavored, lol. I have that charcoal tower thing, where you put in real charcoal and light it beneath, but eh, had the old standby briqs laying around this time. Yep, it was really good and a great time was had by all. Thanks.
